Objective And Aim: Cancer and its treatment have substantial physical and psychological consequences that severely affect the patients' quality of life (QoL) and emotional status. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between distress, anxiety, depression, and QoL of ambulatory cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study of 150 cancer patients who were receiving chemotherapy in the outpatient unit of a central anticancer hospital in Athens.

Introduction: Cytoreductive surgery (CRS) with hyperthermal intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) are established treatments for peritoneal carcinomatosis that prolong survival in carefully selected patients. At the time of diagnosis, 4-7% of patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) have metastasis to the peritoneum. There is a lack of evidence in the literature if J-pouch can be applied simultaneously with HIPEC to improve quality of life in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis syndrome (FAP) and peritoneal carcinomatosis.

Study Design: Retrospective study on circumferential hybrid instrumentation with posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF) and the novel posterior Universal Clamp (UC) instrumentation.
Objective: This study evaluated the roentgenographic and clinical outcome after PLIF with PEEK cage augmented with UC posterior sublaminar fixation without posterior fusion.
Summary Of Background Data: Although UC has been successfully used in scoliosis surgery, to our knowledge, this is the first report on its use in degenerative lumbosacral disease.

Abdominal ultrasound has been proposed as a tool for the evaluation of blunt abdominal trauma. The aim of this study was to evaluate ultrasound's ability to identify intraabdominal injuries that require surgical treatment. Data from 1463 patients were examined retrospectively during a 2-year time period, which were ultrasonographically evaluated for blunt abdominal injury.
