PLoS One

October 2024

Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan.

Article Synopsis
  • The study focused on using the SeDeM-ODT parametric tests to evaluate ludipress as a directly compressible excipient for creating flurbiprofen orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs).
  • All nine powder blends tested showed appropriate compressibility and bucodispersibility, indicating that direct compression is a suitable method for tablet production.
  • The formulations underwent various tests for hardness and disintegration, and stability studies showed a shelf life of about 51-56 months, with dissolution studies indicating they followed the Higuchi kinetic model.

The success of any drilling activity mainly depends on the characteristics of the drilling fluid. Therefore, a high-performance drilling fluid is substantial for any drilling operation. During overbalance drilling operations, the drilling mud invades the permeable formations and causes the loss of circulation, which is responsible for nonproductive time events.
