[Prognostic factors in patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome concurrent with type 2 diabetes mellitus (according to the results of the registry)].

Aim: To investigate factors that influence annual prognosis in patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome ((NSTEACS) concurrent with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2).

Subjects And Methods: The registry of patients with NSTEACS (non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), unstable angina) included 415 patients, of them 335 had no carbohydrate metabolic disorders, 80 had DM2. The follow-up period, during which the prognosis was evaluated in the patients, was one year after hospital discharge following the index NSTEACS event.

[The estimation of the effectiveness of the anesthetic techniques applied for the combined treatment of the patients presenting with chronic generalized periodontitis].

Unlabelled: The treatment of patients presenting with periodontitis is one of the most difficult tasks facing modern dentistry. Most periodontal manipulations are associated with pain sensation; therefore, pain relief is one of the most topical problems in dentistry. The objective of the present study was to enhance both the safety and the effectiveness of anesthetization procedures applied for the treat-ment of patients suffering from moderately severe chronic generalized periodontitis.

[Anesthetic management of robot-assisted radical prostatectomy].

The authors have an experience in performing of 700 radical prostatectomies by using of daVinci-robot. The main factors determining parameters of operation and anesthesia are presented in the article. The authors give recommendations for optimization of anesthetic management.

[Myocardial infarction and acute coronary syndrome: definitions, classification, and diagnostic criteria].

The review gives the definitions and classification of and diagnostic criteria for myocardial infarction and acute coronary syndrome in accordance with the "The third universal definition of myocardial infarction" adopted in 2012 (Joint ESC/ACCF/AHA/WHF Task Force for the Universal Definition of Myocardial Infarction, 2012). It also discusses the clinical and morphological comparisons of and the problems in the differential diagnosis of myocardial infarction as a nosological entity within coronary heart disease with other coronarogenic and non-coronarogenic necroses of the myocardium.

[Towards the problem of disintegration and integration of medical disciplines on the example of a case report].

Authors present a case of a female patient with organic brain lesion, personality and behavioral disorder, pseudoepileptic seizures. Correct diagnosis and effective treatment became possible due to the mutual efforts of a neurologist and a psychiatrist. This example confirms the importance of clinical neurology and psychiatry integration.

[Assessment of the efficacy and tolerability of melatonergic antidepressant treatment in patients surgical correction of the appearance].

Objective. To study the efficacy and tolerability of agomelatine (valdoxan) in the treatment of affective disorders developed after surgical correction of the appearance. Material and methods.

[Comparative analysis of the various instrumental diagnostics methods to the assessment of tooth supporting structure].

The tooth resonance frequency method for periodontal condition diagnostics was compared with apparatus measurement of the tooth mobility in vivo. Tooth natural frequency and tooth mobility were correlated with clinical condition of tooth supporting structure. According to the condition of tooth supporting structure stability zones were indentified.

[PCR rationale for use of oral cephalosporins by oral surgery procedures].

The article presents the experience of PCR detection of DNA of pathogenic germs inducing odontogenic inflammation. Pus samples of 48 patients aged 18 to 68 years undergoing oral surgery because of apical periodontal lesions and pericoronitis. The results showed microorganisms associations revealed by PCR are sensitive to III generation cephalosporins.

[Comparative study of bacterial flora in patients with chronic periodontal disease assessed by various microbiological methods (preliminary study)].

Periodontal pockets microflora features by aggressive and chronic periodontal disease were studied by means of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and mass spectrometry. The study included 14 patients aged 25-70 years without somatic pathology. The pilot study has shown the high prevalence rate in obligate periodontal pathogens in periodontal pockets revealed by PCR diagnostics, at the same time mass spectrometry has revealed the presence of other pathogens which had not been primarily included into PRC diagnosis.

[Possibilities of using intravenous forms of antiepileptic drugs in epileptic seizures].

The literature data on using intravenous forms of AEDs that expand treatment possibilities for patients with epilepsy are presented. AEDs can be used in different situations, when patients are not able to take AEDs in per os. These situations can include seizure emergencies (recurrent seizures, clusters, status epilepticus), caused by disease decompensation; acute symptomatic seizures; perioperative preparation in the case of surgery; dysphagia; gastrointestinal problems; psychiatric disorders, and others.

[The analysis of the structure, types and volumes of dental care provided to adults with tongue disorders by obligatory medical insurance program].

This article presents the data about the structure, the types and volumes of dental care provided to adults with tongue disorders by obligatory medical insurance program. The study showed that treatment of tongue disorders in conditions of the municipal dental polyclinic is practically not carried out. There are 7 types of services provided to patients with these disorders, and only 3 of them could be attributed to treatment manipulations.

[Epilepsy and the functional organization of the autonomic nervous system].

Results of the studies on the state of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) in symptomatic temporal epilepsy (TE) and frontal epilepsy (FE) are presented. It was investigated the functional state of catecholamine system, autonomic background, reaction and ANS supply in response to the physical and psycho-emotional tests according to the clinical data, psychological testing and evaluation of the skin sympathetic response (SSR) as well as EEG parameters (paroxysmal index, slow activity in the background and in response to hyperventilation). The control group included healthy subjects.
