Sudden Death In Sports: Modern Concepts.

Regular physical activity provides significant health benefits and reduces the risk of premature death from any cause, including cardiovascular diseases (CVD). However, physical activity may provoke sudden cardiac death (SCD), especially in presence of unrecognized diseases. It is essential to identify risk factors that contribute to SCD in athletes and to implement effective prevention of such episodes.

The Efficacy of Telemedicine Rehabilitation Programs In Regard Of Risk Factors Control In Patients With Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation Aftercatheter Ablation.

Aim      To evaluate changes in traditional risk factors (RF) during cardiac rehabilitation (CR) programs with remote support in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) after catheter ablation (CA).Material and methods  The lack of control of cardiovascular RFs is a predictor for AF recurrence after CA, development of complications, and decreased life expectancy. Telemedical CR programs may improve the control of RF and enhance the CR efficacy.

Efficacy of secondary prevention and rehabilitation programs with distant support in patients with atrial fibrillation after intervention procedures: impact on psychological status.

Aim      To evaluate the effectivity of secondary prevention/rehabilitation programs with remote support for the psychological condition of patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) following interventional procedures (radiofrequency catheter ablation and cryoablation).Material and methods  This prospective, controlled, randomized clinical study was performed in three parallel groups. Each group consisted of 45 patients with AF after interventional procedures.

Objective: Scientometrical analysis of studies the use of climatotherapy methods and formulation of guidelines based on the evidence obtained during the analysis.

Material And Methods: The article presents the data of scientometrical analysis of 40 publications on the use of climatotherapy in spa practice.

Results: Clinical effects and proposed mechanisms of action of the proven efficacy climatotherapy methods - aerotherapy, heliotherapy and thalassotherapy for the patients with various chronic diseases are presented.

The article is devoted to the issues of medical rehabilitation of children with consequences of perinatal affection of the central nervous system (CNS). An important and principal aspect of the medical rehabilitation of children with perinatal pathology is the minimization of drugs, in this regard, in children in the first year of life, the leading role is given to non-drug methods of exposure. Among the important challenges of the medical rehabilitation of children with perinatal pathology are: improvement of blood supply and metabolic processes in the brain tissue, normalization of the central and peripheral regulation of muscle tone, improvement of neuromuscular conduction, stimulation of psychomotor development.
