Breast cancer presents a significant global health challenge, necessitating continued innovation in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. Recent advances have led to the identification of cancer-associated fibroblasts, which are highly prevalent in breast cancers and express fibroblast activation proteins (FAPs), as critical targets. FAP-specific radiotracers, when used with PET/CT and SPECT/CT, have significant potential for improving early breast cancer detection, staging, treatment response monitoring, and therapeutic intervention.

Public health nurses (PHNs) and school nurses are integral in addressing health disparities, managing chronic illnesses, preventing and controlling communicable diseases, and promoting wellness within communities. Schools serve as pivotal platforms for implementing health initiatives and providing opportunities for disease prevention and health promotion. School nurses identify and address health risks, including chronic conditions, communicable diseases, substance abuse, and mental health concerns, and often act as knowledgeable authorities to access community resources.

Introduction: Lipid screening identifies at-risk patients to facilitate cardiovascular risk reduction. National pediatric guidelines recommend universal lipid screening between 9-11 and 17-21 years of age. We aimed to improve adherence to lipid screening for all age-appropriate outpatient pediatric cardiology visits from a baseline of 35% to 90% between November 2021 and July 2023.

Background: Goldenhar syndrome is a clinically heterogeneous disorder defined by a rare combination of congenital anomalies-an eye abnormality, in addition to two of the following three: ear anomalies, mandibular malformations, and vertebral defects. Notably, children with Goldenhar syndrome present with a high incidence of cervical spine malformations.
Clinical Case: In this report, we present an unusual case of a 15-year-old child with Goldenhar syndrome, who additionally presents with some clinical features of VACTERL syndrome.

Paragangliomas are rare neuroendocrine tumors originating from extra-adrenal paraganglia that often require intricate surgical resection. Specifically, when paragangliomas are localized within the thorax and coexist with cardiovascular structures, they can be challenging to surgically resect. Here, we aimed to review three cases of paragangliomas intruding the aortopulmonary (AP) window that required cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) as an effective surgical approach.

Background: Diverticulitis has significantly increased in prevalence in recent decades, requiring higher rates of colon resections. While current literature focuses on postoperative complications such as abscesses, wound infections, and anastomotic leaks, many are limited in showing details regarding the significant risk associated with developing renal insufficiency among diverticulitis patients undergoing colectomy.
Methods: We selected patients from the 2022 National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) Colectomy database who underwent colon resection for diverticulitis using International Classification of Disease (ICD10) code K57.

Purpose: To determine the optimal treatment decision for capsular management after primary hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome.
Methods: An expected-value decision analysis was performed (1) organizing the decision problem, (2) determining outcome probabilities, (3) determining outcome utilities, (4) performing fold-back analyses, and (5) performing sensitivity analyses. A decision tree was constructed (complete capsule closure vs incomplete closure) and a meta-analysis was conducted using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses framework, a systematic review was conducted to determine outcome probabilities.
