This study investigated the genomic characteristics of seven ST11-K1 CR-hvKP isolates harboring highly homologous KPC-2-encoding multidrug-resistance plasmids. The strains were isolated from a Chinese tertiary hospital between 2017 and 2020.

Factors influencing digital health literacy among older adults: a scoping review.

Background: The growth of digital technology, represented by the development of the Internet, has become popular among older adults. Implying digital health literacy on older adults also affects their ability to use digital technology to search, browse, understand, and evaluate health information to improve their health status. This scoping review aims to explore (1) the situation of digital health literacy among older adults and (2) the influencing factors on the digital health literacy of older adults.

Methods: Of 1044 women aged ≥50 years whose brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) value was available in a baseline survey in 2011-2012, we excluded 374 whose baPWVs were ≥1800 cm/s, set as the cutoff for increased arterial stiffness, and eight with missing data.

This systematic review aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intra-articular glucocorticoids after arthroscopic knee surgery.

Risk factors for conversion from minimally invasive surgery to thoracotomy in patients with lung cancer: outcomes from a pooled analysis.

The purpose of this study is to explore the risk factors for conversion from minimally invasive surgery to thoracotomy in patients with lung cancer through meta-analytic approach, and provide a better evidence-based basis for clinicians to perform surgery. We conducted a comprehensive search across databases including PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library database to identify relevant English-language studies published up to February 2024. The pooled effect estimate was calculated using the odds ratio (OR) and a 95% confidence interval (CI).
