Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a pervasive global health issue with substantial morbidity and mortality, often resulting in secondary complications, including diabetic wounds (DWs). These wounds, arising from hyperglycemia, diabetic neuropathy, anemia, and ischemia, afflict approximately 15% of diabetic patients, with a considerable 25% at risk of lower limb amputations. The conventional approaches for chronic and diabetic wounds management involves utilizing various therapeutic substances and techniques, encompassing growth factors, skin substitutes and wound dressings.

Social behavior, defined as any mode of communication between conspecifics is regulated by a widespread network comprising multiple brain structures. The anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) serves as a hub region interconnected with several brain regions involved in social behavior. Thus, this systematic review and meta-analysis study was aimed to investigate the global prevalence of sexual dysfunction in men with thyroid gland disorders (TGD).
Methods: this systematic review and meta-analysis study conducted based on PRISMA statement criteria regarding the available evidences representing the prevalence of sexual dysfunction in men with TGD.

Copper-Cysteamine nanoparticles (Cu-Cy NPs) have emerged as promising radiosensitizers in cancer treatment. This study aims to investigate the combined therapeutic effect of these nanoparticles and cisplatin using a clinical linear accelerator to enhance the efficacy of chemoradiation therapy for cervical cancer. Following successful synthesis and characterization of Cu-Cy NPs, the cytotoxicity effect of these nanoparticles and cisplatin in various concentrations was evaluated on HeLa cancer cells, individually and in combination.
