Background: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are commonly employed as a powerful tool for the treatment of immune-mediated problems owing to their capacity to regulate the immune system and differentiate into different tissues. Researchers use mesenchymal stem cell products given the limitations associated with the application of MSCs. Exosomes are nanometer vesicles derived from MSCs that are used in cell-free therapy.

Introduction: Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is the widest emerging severe viral tick-borne disease affecting humans. Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV) circulates by routine enzootic tick-vertebrate hosts-tick transmission cycles. We aimed to evaluate the molecular prevalence of CCHFV in ticks on a global scale.

ICSI may face fertilization failure, prompting the use of assisted oocyte activation (AOA) techniques. While AOA is implemented in infertility clinics, its target patients and definitive application remain uncertain. This systematic review adheres to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines to assess reproductive outcomes in ICSI-AOA cycles compared to conventional ICSI and evaluate AOA effectiveness in various infertility disorders.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection is among the most challenging issues in the healthcare system, presenting significant financial and hygiene problems with a wide range of clinical manifestations. Despite the hopeful outcomes of Antiretroviral Therapies (ARTs), the current strategies for the treatment of patients with HIV infection have not shown clinical significance for all subjects, which is mainly due to the complexity of the disease. Therefore, the need for collaborative and interdisciplinary research focused on deciphering the multifaceted cellular, and molecular immunopathogenesis of HIV remains essential in the development of innovative and more efficacious therapeutic approaches.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) ranks among the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Enhancing CRC diagnosis and prognosis requires the development of improved biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Emerging evidence suggests that the unfolded protein response (UPR) plays a pivotal role in CRC progression, presenting new opportunities for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.

Small non-coding RNAs (sRNAs) are a key part of gene expression regulation in bacteria. Many physiologic activities like adaptation to environmental stresses, antibiotic resistance, quorum sensing, and modulation of the host immune response are regulated directly or indirectly by sRNAs in Gram-negative bacteria. Therefore, sRNAs can be considered as potentially useful therapeutic options.

Despite recent medical progress, cervical cancer remains a major global health concern for women. Current standard treatments have limitations such as non-specific toxicity that necessitate development of safer and more effective therapeutic strategies. This research evaluated the combinatorial effects of olive leaf extract (OLE), rich in anti-cancer polyphenols, and the oncolytic Newcastle disease virus (NDV) against human cervical cancer cells.

The result of infection of bone with microorganisms is osteomyelitis and septic arthritis. Methicillin-resistant (MRSA) is responsible for most of its cases (more than 50%). Since MRSA is resistant to many treatments, it is accompanied by high costs and numerous complications, necessitating more effective new treatments.

Objective: The secretome, comprising bioactive chemicals released by mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), holds therapeutic promise in regenerative medicine. This review aimed to explore the therapeutic potential of the MSC secretome in regenerative urology, particularly for treating erectile dysfunction (ED), and to provide an overview of preclinical and clinical research on MSCs in ED treatment and subsequently to highlight the rationales, mechanisms, preclinical investigations, and therapeutic potential of the MSC secretome in this context.
Methods: The review incorporated an analysis of preclinical and clinical research involving MSCs in the treatment of ED.

The healing process at a wound is made up of many types of cells, growth factors, the extracellular matrix, nerves and blood vessels all interacting with each other in complex and changing ways. Microbial colonization and proliferation are possible at the place of injury, which makes infection more likely. Because of this, any cut has a chance of getting an infection.

Free Fatty Acids (FFAs) are vital for energy homeostasis and the pathogenesis of a variety of diseases, including diabetes. For the first time, we presumed and investigated the types and levels of FFAs and their links to Insulin Resistance (IR) and Oxidative Stress (OS) in T2DM. A case-control study was conducted on 60 individuals with diabetes, 60 prediabetics with IFG, and 60 control groups.

Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells, widely acknowledged as the preferred host system for industrial recombinant protein manufacturing, play a crucial role in developing pharmaceuticals, including anticancer therapeutics. Nevertheless, mammalian cell-based biopharmaceutical production methods are still beset by cellular constraints such as limited growth and poor productivity. MicroRNA-21 (miR-21) has a major impact on a variety of malignancies, including glioblastoma multiforme (GBM).

Clonidine operates through agonism at the alpha-2A receptor, a specific subtype of the alpha-2-adrenergic receptor located predominantly in the prefrontal cortex. By inhibiting the release of norepinephrine, which is responsible for withdrawal symptoms, clonidine effectively addresses withdrawal-related conditions such as anxiety, hypertension, and tachycardia. The groundbreaking work by Gold .

Introduction: Melanoma is known as a highly lethal cancer. In melanoma cells, apoptosis signalling which relies heavily on the acute activity of mitochondria and reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation is suppressed. Our previous studies on natural compounds on melanoma suggested that mitochondria are a potential target for the melanoma treatment by selective cytotoxic effect of them.

Dysregulation of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), such as maternally expressed gene 3 (MEG3) and long intergenic noncoding RNA regulator of reprogramming (linc-ROR), plays a crucial role in colorectal cancer progression. We aimed to assess linc-ROR silencing and MEG3 activation on the colorectal cancer cell proliferation simultaneously; and explore the underlying mechanisms in the TP53-associated Pathway. The MEG3 and linc-ROR shRNA were cloned under the bidirectional CEA promoter (UM1).

Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, and imposes a substantial socioeconomic burden with little impact especially on aggressive types of cancer. Conventional therapies have many serious side effects including generalised systemic toxicity which limits their long-term use. Tumour resistance and recurrence is another main problem associated with conventional therapy.

The development and progression of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) are heavily influenced by inflammation, excessive activation of glial cells, and neuronal cell death. This study aimed to investigate the effects of treatment with alpha-pinene (APN) on pro-and anti-inflammatory cytokine levels, astrogliosis, pyroptosis, and autophagy markers in the hippocampus in a rat model of TLE induced by kainic acid (KA). Male Wistar rats were employed, and TLE was induced by intracerebroventricular injection of KA.
