The development of ion-sensitive field-effect transistor (ISFET) sensors based on silicon nanowires (SiNW) has recently seen significant progress, due to their many advantages such as compact size, low cost, robustness and real-time portability. However, little work has been done to predict the performance of SiNW-ISFET sensors. The present study focuses on predicting the performance of the silicon nanowire (SiNW)-based ISFET sensor using four machine learning techniques, namely multilayer perceptron (MLP), nonlinear regression (NLR), support vector regression (SVR) and extra tree regression (ETR).

Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) of the submandibular gland is a rare and highly aggressive malignancy, distinguished by its tendency for perineural invasion and distant metastasis, particularly to the lungs and bones. The management of ACC is challenging due to its biological variability and the absence of specific randomized controlled trials to guide treatment. This report aims to encapsulate the clinical features, histological profile, diagnostic workup, and management options for submandibular gland ACC, with an emphasis on recent advancements in understanding and treatment.

When faced with clinical and radiological findings suggestive of villonodular synovitis, tuberculosis is not often considered a differential diagnosis, especially when the patient is not a known tuberculosis carrier. In this paper, we present an exceptional case of a patient who had a tumefaction (measuring 17 cm in length) in the anterointernal region of her left knee, with a clinical and radiological picture in favor of villonodular synovitis. However, after tumor resection, the anatomopathological study of the surgical specimen came back in favor of a tuberculous lesion.
