Given the ease of synthetic accessibility and the promising biological profile demonstrated by both imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine and Chalcone derivatives, a series of Chalcone-based imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivatives were synthesized and characterized using H NMR, C NMR, Mass Spectrometry and FTIR techniques. Density functional theory (DFT) was employed to investigate the structural and electronic properties, providing insights into potential reactive sites. The synthesized compounds were evaluated in vitro for their antiviral properties against human immunodeficiency virus type-1 (HIV-1) and human immunodeficiency virus type-2 (HIV-2) in MT-4 cells.

This study aimed to assess the influence of exposure intensity to Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), age, and Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccination on LTBI prevalence in Morocco.
Methods: A cross-sectional study of 131 participants, including 98 non-exposed healthy volunteers (NEHV) and 33 healthcare workers exposed to active TB (exposed healthcare workers [EHCW]), was conducted.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is a rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) that can occur in the breast. This case report details the case of a 48-year-old postmenopausal woman diagnosed with primary breast DLBCL after presenting with a painless, rapidly growing mass. Imaging studies, including ultrasound and mammography, indicated significant breast involvement, confirmed by histopathological analysis revealing large atypical lymphoid cells.

Background: Genomic sequence similarity comparison is a crucial research area in bioinformatics. Multiple Sequence Alignment (MSA) is the basic technique used to identify regions of similarity between sequences, although MSA tools are widely used and highly accurate, they are often limited by computational complexity, and inaccuracies when handling highly divergent sequences, which leads to the development of alignment-free (AF) algorithms.
Results: This paper presents TreeWave, a novel AF approach based on frequency chaos game representation and discrete wavelet transform of sequences for phylogeny inference.

A series of Imidazo[1,2-]pyridine-Schiff base derivatives were synthesized and characterized using H NMR, C NMR, Mass Spectrometry and FTIR techniques, and the structure of 4a was further confirmed through single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Density Functional Theory (DFT) has been used to investigate the structural and electronic properties. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antiviral activity against human immunodeficiency virus type-1 (HIV-1) and human immunodeficiency virus type-2 (HIV-2) in MT-4 cells.

Introduction And Importance: The inner ear is considered an 'end organ' since its vascular supply comes from one terminal artery, making the labyrinth especially vulnerable to ischemia, causing loss of auditory and vestibular function with variable clinical patterns according to the different arterial distribution in the inner ear and which vascular branches are concerned by the embolism.
Case Presentation: We report a misleading case of central vascular vertigo caused by a labyrinthine infarction resulting from an embolic vertebral artery, which manifested in a typical peripheral clinical presentation mimicking a vestibular neuritis.
Clinical Discussion: Vertigo is the result of asymmetrical responses from the vestibules of both ears resulting from any disruption along the complex vestibular pathways, whether peripheral or central.

Introduction: Intra-parotid metastasis refers to the spread of cancerous cells from a primary tumor to the lymph nodes within the parotid gland. To our best knowledge, we report the first described case in the literature of a patient who received IMRT for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (UCNT) without sparing the parotid gland and still experienced a recurrence.
Case Presentation: A 57-year-old male patient of north African origin presented with a left parotid mass that had been evolving for 6 months.

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of combining androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) with stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in the treatment of localized prostate cancer.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 30 patients treated with SBRT for localized prostate cancer at Cheikh Khalifa Hospital between 2017 and 2022. All patients presented with intermediate prognostic risk prostate cancer, as classified by the D'Amico criteria.

Multiple primary malignancies (MPMs) present diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, especially given their rarity and the distinct treatment strategies required. We report a case of a 66-year-old postmenopausal woman who presented with synchronous triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and cervical cancer, an uncommon and complex clinical scenario. Given the complexity of her condition, a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach was employed.

Condyloma acuminata (CA) is a common manifestation of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection affecting the urogenital tract. While external genital lesions are frequently encountered, urethral involvement presents a therapeutic challenge due to the risk of recurrence and long-term complications such as urethral stricture. We present a case of urethral condyloma acuminata in a 43-year-old male patient who demonstrated favorable progression following electrocoagulation therapy.

Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are rare neoplasms that can occur in various locations, including the central nervous system (CNS). We present a case report of a 47-year-old male patient with an intracranial SFT who underwent subtotal resection followed by adjuvant radiotherapy. The patient initially presented with chronic left temporal headache and was diagnosed with an intra-axial double-component mass in the left temporoparietal lobe.

Inguinal bladder hernia is a rare clinical condition, and only a small number of reported cases have been treated by laparoscopic surgery. We report a case of a patient aged 65-year-old who presented to our outpatient care unit for a right inguinal swelling. Computer tomography (CT) imaging showed a direct inguinal hernia with bladder and epiploic content.

Introduction: Cancers of unknown primary origin (CUP) pose a significant clinical challenge, representing a small percentage (1 to 5 %) of overall cancer cases. The patient is a 31-year-old male who has been diagnosed with poorly differentiated infiltrating squamous cell carcinoma, which has been classified as CUP. The exceptional perineal presentation and diagnostic process serve as a reminder of the diverse nature of CUPs and the crucial role played by advanced imaging methods and a multidisciplinary approach.
