Intradiploic epidermoid cysts are rare, benign tumors, accounting for less than 1% of all intracranial tumors. Due to their scarcity, we are reporting a case of an intradiploic epidermoid cyst and reviewing several similar cases in the literature to provide a better description of this tumor and analyze its clinical and radiological features. We conducted a search on the PubMed database for studies published between January 2010 and February 2023, including studies of nontraumatic and noniatrogenic calvarial cysts.

Co-evolution of plant beneficial microbes in contaminated environments enhances plant growth and mitigates abiotic stress. However, few studies on heavy metal (HM) tolerant plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) promoting crop growth in Morocco's farming areas affected by drought and salinity are available. Plant associated bacteria tolerant to HM and able to produce indole acetic acid and siderophores, display ACC-deaminase activity and solubilize phosphate, were isolated from long-term metal exposed environments.

Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is a rare myocardial genetic disease that leads to heart failure and sudden cardiac death. The diagnosis of ARVC remains challenging given its variable presentation. A 66-year-old woman was admitted to our cardiac intensive care unit for the management of a left heart failure flare-up with an atrial flutter, which remains an atypical mode of the revelation of arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) retained based the association of genetic predisposition, the presence of repolarization abnormalities on electrocardiogram (EKG), the occurrence of an episode of sustained ventricular tachycardia and imaging data.

Concentrations of toxic metals (Hg, Pb, and Cd) were determined in the muscles of , , and caught from the Moulouya River of Morocco by graphite furnace (for Pb and Cd) and cold vapour (for Hg) atomic absorption spectrometry, after acid digestion. Although the concentration of metals in some species was relatively high, no health risk has been identified in comparison to the maximum limits as set by the European Commission. The order of increasing concentrations was Cd < Hg < Pb.

Introduction and importance Hypertrophic pachymeningitis (HP) is an uncommon disorder with varied etiological origins and heterogeneous clinical presentation. Establishing the etiological diagnosis poses a challenge, but prompt identification provides a treatment window, potentially leading to a reversal of symptoms. MRI is the reference examination, allowing not only the early diagnosis of pachymeningitis but also the assessment of its extent and importance, detection of possible complications, and suggestion of etiology.

Opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome (OMS) is a rare neurological disorder characterized by irregular, continuous, and chaotic eye saccades accompanied by myoclonus, defined by brief, shock-like muscle spasms in the arms or legs. This syndrome often presents with additional features such as cerebellar syndrome, nycthemeral rhythm disorders, hallucinosis, and irritability-type behavioral disorders. In adults, OMS is predominantly paraneoplastic, necessitating screening for onconeural antibodies (ONA).

In Morocco, the abundance of low-value varieties in the oases may provide an opportunity to capitalize on this richness to create new nutraceutical food products. In this context, the phenolic profile and antioxidant capacity of four Moroccan date varieties were analyzed. Our results indicate that the levels of total polyphenols, total flavonoids and total condensed tannins vary, respectively, from 91.

In a world grappling with escalating energy demand and pressing environmental concerns, microgrids have risen as a promising solution to bolster energy efficiency, alleviate costs, and mitigate carbon emissions. This article delves into the dynamic realm of microgrids, emphasizing their indispensable role in addressing today's energy needs while navigating the hazards of pollution. Microgrid operations are intricately shaped by a web of constraints, categorized into two essential domains: those inherent to the microgrid itself and those dictated by the external environment.

Dominant optic atrophy (DOA) is one of the most prevalent forms of hereditary optic neuropathies and is mainly caused by heterozygous variants in OPA1, encoding a mitochondrial dynamin-related large GTPase. The clinical spectrum of DOA has been extended to a wide variety of syndromic presentations, called DOAplus, including deafness as the main secondary symptom associated to vision impairment. To date, the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying the deafness in DOA remain unknown.

Mycorrhizal symbiosis, the mutually beneficial association between plants and fungi, has gained significant attention in recent years due to its widespread significance in agricultural productivity. Specifically, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) provide a range of benefits to grain and oil crops, including improved nutrient uptake, growth, and resistance to (a)biotic stressors. Harnessing this symbiotic interaction using molecular and systems biology approaches presents promising opportunities for sustainable and economically-viable agricultural practices.

Pyranopyrazole derivatives have a vital role in the class of organic compounds because of their broad spectrum of biological and pharmacological importance. Our current goal is the [3 + 3] cycloaddition of benzoyl isothiocyanate and pyrazolone 1 to undergo oxidation cyclization, producing pyrazoloxadiazine 3. The diol 5 was obtained as a condensation of two equivalents of 1 with thiophene-2-carboxaldehyde in acetic acid above the sodium acetate mixture.

The current study focuses on investigating how to improve the efficacy of the combined process of aerated lagooning and adsorption for the treatment of olive mill wastewater (OMWW) from the olive industries in the Loukkos region using the design of experiments approach. The latter made it possible to optimize the experimental conditions, such as the mass concentration of lime, the mass concentration of powdered activated carbon (AC), and the speed of agitation (Va), which are required for the envisaged treatment, in order to control the results after the evaluation of the necessary physicochemical parameters, namely pH, total suspended solids (TSS), chemical oxygen demand (COD), rate of discoloration, and content of polyphenols. The experimental conditions necessary to carry out this study were between 1.

Additionally, their anti-diabetic and antioxidant properties were investigated. The application of GC-MS technology to analyze the fatty acid content of the samples revealed that linoleic acid and eicosenoic acid were the most abundant unsaturated fatty acids across all samples, with palmitic acid and oleic acid following in frequency.
