Objective: The objective of this scoping review was to examine and map fasting times for intubated adult patients in the intensive care unit prior to general anesthesia, and patient outcomes following the cessation of enteral nutrition.

Background: Malnutrition in critically ill patients in the intensive care unit has been associated with increased infectious morbidity, increased length of intensive care unit and hospital stay, increased rate of infections, increased number of ventilator days, and impaired wound healing. One potential contributor to malnutrition is prolonged fasting times prior to general anesthesia.

Objective: The objective of this review is to evaluate the impact of electronic health (eHealth) interventions on physical activity and weight changes among pregnant and/or postpartum populations and to describe the sociodemographic characteristics of the study populations.

Introduction: The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends 20 minutes of daily physical activity during pregnancy and postpartum. Few pregnant women are physically active and among those who are, physical activity levels decline as pregnancy progresses and during postpartum.

Objective: The objective of this review is to explore existing literature related to free clinic oversight, and patient and health outcomes reported with the use of free clinics in the United States, to examine and conceptually map the evidence, and to identify any gaps.

Introduction: Free clinics serve a unique role in American health care; however, little is known about clinic oversight and the outcomes seen in uninsured and under-insured patients who are treated at free health clinics.

Inclusion Criteria: The review will consider studies that include hospital or privately owned and operated community free clinics, and adults and children who utilize free clinics in the United States.
