Background: Endurance athletes tend to accumulate large training volumes, the majority of which are performed at a low intensity and a smaller portion at moderate and high intensity. However, different training intensity distributions (TID) are employed to maximize physiological and performance adaptations.

Objective: The objective of this study was to conduct a systematic review and network meta-analysis of individual participant data to compare the effect of different TID models on maximal oxygen uptake (VO) and time-trial (TT) performance in endurance-trained athletes.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included adult patients with de novo HFrEF (diagnosed ≤30 days) with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) ≤40% who were first prescribed with sacubitril/valsartan or ACEi/ARB from 1 January 2016 to 31 March 2020.

Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK), the primary target of BTK inhibitors, is a key enzyme in the proliferation and survival pathway of neoplastic B-cells. BTK inhibitors are approved in many hematologic malignancies: chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, mantle cell lymphoma, marginal zone lymphoma, Waldenström macroglobulinaemia and follicular lymphoma. Second-generation BTK inhibitors display high target selectivity thus resulting in a reduction in off-target and off-tissue effects, better therapeutic index and improved tolerability.

Aims: This project aimed to evaluate current practices of trained nurses performing implantable cardiac monitor (ICM) implantations and remote follow-ups in Italy, assessing hospital protocols and nurses' perceptions.

Methods: An anonymous survey was conducted among 163 trained nurses across 75 Italian hospitals, focusing on their ICM implantation and remote monitoring practices. Data collected included hospital characteristics and protocols, barriers to implementation, and nurses' feedback on their experiences.

Six-month Rituximab-Lenalidomide regimen in advanced untreated Follicular Lymphoma: SAKK 35/10 Trial 10-year Update.

The Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK) and the Nordic Lymphoma Group (NLG) conducted the SAKK 35/10 randomized phase-2 trial (NCT0137605) to compare rituximab (R) alone versus R plus lenalidomide (L) as initial treatment for follicular lymphoma (FL). Patients with grade 1-3a FL, requiring systemic therapy, were randomized to either R (n=77; 375 mg/m2 IV x 1, weeks 1-4) or RL (n=77; R on the same schedule and L at 15 mg daily continuously).
