Purpose: To evaluate the presence of fungi in patients with chronic anterior blepharitis with periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining of the eyelashes in addition to the conventional methods of fungal cultures and direct microscopy.
Methods: Nineteen patients with chronic anterior blepharitis of seborrheic or mixed seborrheic/staphylococcal type and 11 healthy age- and sex-matched controls were included in this prospective, nonrandomized, cross-sectional study. Blepharitis was diagnosed based on clinical evidence of greasy scales between the cilia, lid margin erythema, conjunctival hyperemia, telangiectasia, thickening, or irregularity of the eyelid margins by slit-lamp biomicroscopy.

Aims: To review the detailed gray-scale and Doppler ultrasonography features of histologically proven parathyroid adenomas (PAs) evaluated with high-end ultrasonography devices and to present a novel ultrasonography finding called the dual concentric echo sign in PA with histopathologic correlation which was encountered during detailed analysis.
Material And Methods: Fifty-six PAs with histopathological result were enrolled. The longest dimension, shape, distance to skin surface, internal echo and Doppler US features obtained with high-end US devices were evaluated.

Basically malignant tumors in the retroperitoneal region arise from a heterogeneous group of tissues: mesodermal, neurogenic, germ cell, and lymphoid. Although rare, benign tumors and cystic masses can be also encountered in retroperitoneal space. Developments in computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) have contributed to both diagnosis and staging of the retroperitoneal tumors.

Aim: To compare the choroidal thickness measurements of healthy pregnant women obtained in the first trimester with measurements obtained in the third trimester using enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (OCT).
Methods: 54 eyes of 27 healthy pregnant women and 50 eyes of 25 age matched healthy women were enrolled in this observational, cross-sectional study. The pregnant women underwent two OCT scans, one in the first trimester at gestational weeks 6-8, and the other during the third trimester at gestational weeks 32-37; the control group had OCT scanning during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle, using the enhanced depth imaging mode.

We also investigated the impact of different variables on SLNI.
Patients And Methods: 270 patients diagnosed with HNT were enrolled in the study (194 males and 96 females, mean age 54.

Epithelioid angiomyolipoma (E-AML), accounting for 8% of renal angiomyolipoma, is usually associated with tuberous sclerosis (TS) and demonstrates aggressive behavior. E-AML is macroscopically seen as a large infiltrative necrotic tumor with occasional extension into renal vein and/or inferior vena cava. However, without history of TS, renal sinus and venous invasion E-AML would be a challenging diagnosis, which may lead radiologists to misinterpret it as a renal cell carcinoma (RCC).

The diseases affecting the trachea and main bronchi can be categorized into congenital or acquired abnormalities and also into focal or diffuse diseases. Major congenital bronchial abnormalities cover accessory cardiac bronchus and tracheal bronchus. Tracheobronchial strictures, such as post-intubation and post-infectious stenosis and tracheobronchial neoplasms are regarded as focal diseases, whereas tracheobronchomegaly, relapsing polychondritis, tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica, amyloidosis, granulomatosis with polyangiitis, tracheobronchomalacia, saber-sheath trachea and tracheobronchitis associated with ulcerative colitis are examples of diffuse diseases.

Aim: To compare the choroidal thickness measurements obtained during the attack period and during the pain-free interval in migraine patients using enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (OCT).
Methods: 58 eyes of 29 subjects with a diagnosis of migraine with or without aura were enrolled in this observational, cross-sectional study. Two OCT scans were performed for each patient, one during the peak period of the migraine attack and the other during the headache-free interval, using the enhanced depth imaging mode.
