Background: Low levels of magnesium (Mg) are associated with chronic inflammatory stress. Some animal studies have reported that a moderate deficiency of Mg, similar to that which occurs in humans, may increase inflammatory or oxidative stress stimulated by other factors, such as disrupted sleep or sleep deficiency.
Purpose: This cross-sectional study evaluated the relationship between serum levels of Mg and the inflammatory response in patients with a new diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Background: Rhinophyma is a rare, disfiguring disease characterized by a slow progressive overgrowth of the soft tissue of the nose associated with end-stage severe acne rosacea.
Objective: We present a case of severe rhinophyma treated successfully using PlasmaBlade and acellular dermal matrix with split-thickness skin graft.
Methods: This procedure combines deep excision with PlasmaBlade followed by coverage with an acellular dermal matrix for dermal substitution and split-thickness skin graft.

Purpose: To clarify the role of medical treatment in the management of acute appendicitis and the value of C-reactive protein (CRP) for predicting its failure.
Materials And Methods: Patients with clinically diagnosed acute appendicitis, confirmed by imaging studies, were enrolled in this study. We measured leukocyte counts and CRP levels and recorded success and recurrence rates and the efficiency of medical treatment during follow-up.

The extended use of assisted reproductive technologies is increasing the heterotopic pregnancies, leading to a potentially dangerous condition for the intrauterine pregnancy and the mother. We report a case of unruptured heterotopic pregnancy following IVF-ET at 6 weeks of gestation and the patient was treated with salpingostomy under spinal anesthesia. The intrauterine twin pregnancy course was uneventful with the delivery of healthy babies at 34th week by Cesarean section.
