Purpose: This study aimed to assess the diagnostic accuracy of smartphone photographs, taken at the emergency department (ED) and shared with hand surgeons, in identifying critical circulatory issues and neurovascular bundle injury, as well as tendon and bone injuries.
Methods: The photographs of hand injuries of 50 patients who were referred to our ED between January 2020 and January 2022 were used to design a questionnaire. This questionnaire, including closed-ended questions about the injured structures, was shared with a group of hand surgeons via a WhatsApp group in Turkey.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the postoperative radiological and functional results of patients treated with arthroscopy-assisted (AA) and percutaneous (P) procedures using endo-button for type III acromioclavicular joint dislocations with a minimum 1-year follow-up. The study hypothesis was that the AA technique would provide more favourable coracoid tunnels.
Methods: This retrospective study included patients who underwent surgery between 2017 and 2022.

Objectives: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of osteopathic visceral manipulation (OVM) combined with physical therapy in pain, depression, and functional impairment in patients with chronic mechanical low back pain (LBP).
Patients And Methods: A total of 118 patients with chronic mechanical LBP were assessed, and 86 who met the inclusion criteria were included in the randomized-controlled study between January 2021 and August 2022. The patients were randomized to either Group 1 (n=43), which underwent physical therapy (5 days/week, for a total of 15 sessions) combined with OVM (2 days/week with three-day intervals), or Group 2 (n=43), which underwent physical therapy (5 days/week, for a total of 15 sessions) combined with sham OVM (2 days/week with three-day intervals).

Purpose: In this study, our aim was to reveal the effect of the medial femoral offset aimer usage through the femoral tunnel entry and exit points and the tunnel length during femoral tunnel drilling in arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
Methods: One hundred patients who underwent arthroscopic single-bundle ACL reconstruction were included in the study. Group 1 consisted of 50 patients who underwent femoral tunnel drilling using a medial portal offset aimer device, while Group 2 consisted of 50 patients who were operated on using the freehand technique.

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare clinical and radiological results of three different techniques (plate-screw, tension band, and intramedullary nail) in the fixation of olecranon osteotomy in patients with intercondylar fracture of the distal humerus surgically treated by the olecranon osteotomy approach.
Methods: Between January 2010 and December 2018, the study was initiated with 52 patients who underwent an olecranon osteotomy approach for an AO Type C distal humerus fracture. Thirty-seven patients (19 male, 18 female) who had regular control data and a final control examination were included in the study.

Scedosporium apiospermum complex members are opportunistic fungi that can be found in environments such as soil and polluted water. In this report, we aimed to present a case of mycetoma caused by Scedosporium apiospermum complex that developed in a 40-year-old female patient with immunocompetent system and diagnosed by fungal culture. In the anamnesis of the patient who admitted in 2015 with the complaint of more than one fistulized discharge wound, pain and swelling in the dorsal of the right hand and wrist; it was learned that her complaints started about 20 years ago with a slight swelling on the back of the wrist, and when it worsened, the abscess was drained and antibiotic treatment was initiated in a private surgical center.

Background: Although Achilles tenotomy is performed to increase the ankle dorsiflexion in clubfoot patients, it may also increase the amount of the foot abduction due to the unique oval field of motion property of the ankle and subtalar joint complex. This study investigated the effect of Achilles tenotomy on foot abduction in patients with clubfoot.
Methods: Equinus deformity before tenotomy (EBT), equinus deformity after tenotomy (EAT), abduction before tenotomy (ABT), and abduction after tenotomy (AAT) were measured.

Achilles tendon lengthening (ATL) surgery is a technique that is frequently used in the surgical treatment of contracture of the Achilles tendon seen in many pediatric orthopedic problems such as cerebral palsy, clubfoot, pes planovalgus and myelomeningocele. It is important to appropriately adjust the amount of ATL. However, the literature on the preoperative calculation of the required amount of tendon lengthening is limited.

Objective: Pain-avoidance is considered to be one of the major leading factors to develop a chronic low back pain (CLBP). In this study, we aimed to translate the Behavioral Avoidance Test-Back Pain (BAT-Back) into Turkish and evaluate its psychometric properties in patients with CLBP.
Methods: 115 patients with CLBP filled the provided socio-demographic information form, the "Oswestry Disability Index (ODI)", the "Fear-Avoidance Beliefs Questionnaire (FABQ)", the "Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia (TSK)", and the "Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS)".
