Association Between Tea Drinking and Anemia in Women of Reproductive Age: A Cross-Sectional Study From the Mekran Division, Balochistan, Pakistan.

Background: Anemia in females of the reproductive age group is an area of concern globally, but its prevalence is high in developing countries. Dietary habits and lifestyle impact the hematological parameters. It is important to evaluate the impact of tea drinking on hematological parameters in females of the reproductive age group.

Knowledge, attitude, and awareness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation among university enrolled medical and non-medical students of Pakistan: An online study.

Objective: To evaluate the awareness, attitude and knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) among university-enrolled medical and non-medical undergraduate students of Pakistan.

Methods: Cross-sectional online survey-based study was conducted across institutes in Pakistan from December, 2022 to January, 2023. The study involved university-enrolled undergraduate students across the country.

Radiographic assessment of sacral hiatus anatomy with backache.

Objectives: To determine hiatal variations in cases of backache and controls on radiographs and association of age groups with hiatal parameters in patients with backache versus normal individuals.

Methods: This case control study on 178 patients (89 cases and 89 controls), aged from 18-65 years, selected by non-probability convenience sampling was conducted at Radiology Department of PNS Shifa Hospital, Karachi over six months.The sacral hiatus was identified on lumbosacral spine radiographs.

Morphometric study of acetabular depth and coverage and their clinical importance.

Objectives: To measure acetabular parameters and to compare parameters of acetabulum between men and women, and right and left sides.

Methods: The study was conducted in PNS Shifa Hospital, Karachi from January to June 2021. Anteroposterior radiographs of both hips of 70 adults aged 20-70 years were included.

Ilizarov Fixation Method of Tibia Plateau Fractures: A Prospective Observational Study.

Background:  Tibia plateau fractures are most commonly managed with open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) technique, external fixation via minimally invasive technique are an excellent alternative. The aim of this study was to assess the results of tibia plateau fractures by using the Ilizarov external fixator. The analysis was done both clinically and radiologically.
