Purpose: Urban slums are well known for their high infant mortality and morbidity rates, and parasitic infections seem to be a common problem among these children. Introduction: In recent years, recreational use of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors has become popular as a sexual enhancement aid among some men without erectile dysfunction (ED) and even among women.

Aim: The aim of the present study, therefore, was to investigate the recreational use of PDE5 among young and healthy men.
