Associations Between microRNA-related Genetic Polymorphisms and Clinical Response to Methotrexate in Chinese Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients.

Background: Emerging evidence indicates that microRNA (miRNA)-related genetic polymorphisms are strongly involved in the post-transcriptional regulation of the expression of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics- related genes, therefore contributing to the genetic variability of drug response.

Objective: To investigate the associations of miRNA-related genetic polymorphisms, including miRNA-5189 rs562929801, miRNA-595 rs4909237, SLCO1A2 rs4149009 and MTHFR rs3737966, and clinical response to methotrexate in Chinese rheumatoid arthritis patients.

Methods: One hundred patients treated with MTX for approximately 3 months were prospectively followed up to evaluate the clinical response according to European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) good and moderate response, disease activity score in 28 joint counts - erythrocyte sedimentation rate (DAS28-ESR) low disease activity (LDA) and remission (REM), change in DAS28-ESR (ΔDAS28-ESR) and ΔDAS28-ESR > 0.

Clinical features of patients with talaromycosis marneffei and microbiological characteristics of the causative strains.

Background: Talaromyces marneffei (T. marneffei) is a temperature-dependent dimorphic fungus that is mainly prevalent in Southeast Asia and South China and often causes disseminated life-threatening infections. This study aimed to investigate the clinical features and improve the early diagnosis of talaromycosis marneffei in nonendemic areas.

Additionally, FBXO7 is involved in the regulation of the proteasome complex, mitophagy, the cell cycle, cell proliferation, and germ cell differentiation.

Ultrasonographic and pathological features of sclerosing stromal tumor: a case report.

Background: We herein report a rare case of a sclerosing stromal tumor (SST) in an adolescent. In this case, the mass displayed a shrinking trend, combined with its ultrasonic manifestations and pathological characteristics and may provide some references for the selection and timing of treatment, to avoid excessive harm to patients.

Case Description: A healthy 17-year-old adolescent female presented to the outpatient department, complaining of abnormal uterine bleeding, but no abdominal pain, bloating, chills, or fever.

[Clinical features and survival analysis of microscopic polyangiitis-associated interstitial lung disease:a retrospective study of 28 patients].

To explore the clinical features, laboratory examination and imaging features of microscopic polyangiitis (MPA)-associated interstitial lung disease (ILD), and to perform survival analysis. The records of 28 patients with MPA-ILD who were treated at the Affiliated Hospital of Medical School of Ningbo University were reviewed retrospectively from August 2014 to November 2021. The patients' clinical features, laboratory parameters, pulmonary function test, echocardiography, chest CT scan findings and therapeutic regimen were analyzed, and the relevant data were statistically analyzed.

Effects of running fatigue on lower extremity symmetry among amateur runners: From a biomechanical perspective.

The objective of this study was to examine the effects of running fatigue on the symmetry of lower limb biomechanical parameters in eighteen male amateur runners. The marker trajectories and ground reaction forces were collected before and after the running-induced fatigue protocol. Symmetry angles (SA) were used to quantify the symmetry of each parameter.

Electroacupuncture modulates gut microbiota in mice: A potential target in postoperative cognitive dysfunction.

The detailed mechanism of inflammation in postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is unclear. This study aimed to determine whether electroacupuncture (EA) ameliorates POCD by modulating gut microbial dysbiosis. Background: Currently, few studies have explored the heterogeneity of symptoms and functions in patients with breast cancer. This study aimed to identify the subgroups of symptoms and functions in women receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer and determine whether the subgroups differed in demographic and clinical characteristics.

Methods: A cross-sectional multicenter survey involving five hospitals in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, and Guangxi provinces of Mainland China was implemented between August 2020 to December 2021.
