Osteoarticular tuberculosis is one of the extrapulmonary tuberculosis, which is mainly caused by direct infection of or secondary infection of tuberculosis in other parts. Due to the low specificity of the current detection method, it is leading to a high misdiagnosis rate and subsequently affecting the follow-up treatment and prognosis. Metabolomics is mainly used to study the changes of the body's metabolites in different states, so it can serve as an important means in the discovery of disease-related metabolic biomarkers and the corresponding mechanism research.

NF-κB (nuclear factor κB) is a regulator of hepatocellular cancer (HCC)-related inflammation and enhances HCC cells' resistance to antitumor therapies by promoting cell survival and anti-apoptosis processes. In the present work, we demonstrate that A20, a dominant-negative regulator of NF-κB, forms a complex with HSP90 (heat-shock protein 90) and causes the disassociation of the A20/HSP90 complex downregulation of HSP90. This process restores the antitumor activation of A20.

Non-invasive early prediction of septic acute kidney injury (S-AKI) is still urgent and challenging. Increased Doppler-based renal resistive index (RRI) has been shown to be associated with S-AKI, but its clinical use is limited, which may be explained by the complex effects of systemic circulation. Echocardiogram allows non-invasive assessment of systemic circulation, which may provide an effective supplement to RRI.

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs) are the standard of care for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with exon 19 deletion and L858R mutations. However, no EGFR TKI has been approved for NSCLC patients harboring insertion mutations in exon 20 (ex20ins), a subgroup of uncommon mutations resistant to first-generation EGFR TKIs. This unmet clinical challenge is further complicated by disease progression due to brain metastases (BMs), which limits the use of EGFR TKIs with low intracranial activity.
