However, many studies have suggested it can also cause thrombocytopenia and pancytopenia.

: In non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients harboring mutations, MET-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) have been proven to achieve a good response. However, the relative efficacy of different therapeutics in primary NSCLC patients with amplification and the treatment options for patients harboring acquired amplification after the failure of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-TKIs remain unclear. In total, 33 patients harboring primary amplification and 9 patients harboring acquired alterations identified by next-generation sequencing were enrolled.

Accurate detection of microRNA (miRNA) is challenging but essential for disease diagnostics and therapeutics. To meet the high demands of miRNA analysis, we proposed a highly sensitive and specific electrochemical strategy based on duplex-specific nuclease (DSN)-assisted target recycling and DNA self-assembled FeNC nanocatalytic network for precise quantitation of miRNA-21 as a model. Nerve injury and nerve pain are common diseases caused by neuroinflammation. Numerous studies have shown that the activation of NLRP3 (nod-like receptor family, pyrin domain-containing 3) inflammasome is involved in a various inflammatory response, such as Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, nerve damage and other diseases. The NLRP3 inflammasome is a complex containing NLRP3 protein, ASC (apoptosis-associated speckle-like protein), and pro-caspase-1, which is highly expressed and activated to promote the secretion of IL-1β and IL-18 in response to the stimulation of danger-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) and pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) in immune cells such as macrophages and dendritic cells.

Quantitative analysis of microRNAs (miRNAs) in a noninvasive manner is of vital importance for disease diagnosis and prognosis evaluation. However, conventional strategies for realizing accurate, simple, and sensitive detection of target molecules are still a challenge, especially for miRNAs due to their low abundance and susceptibility in the complex biological environment. Here, a novel surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) strategy was established for quantitative detection and monitoring of miRNA-21-5p (miR-21-5p) in living cells and in vivo cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) by applying hairpin DNA (hpDNA)-conjugated gold nanostars (GNSs) SERS probes combined with acupuncture-based technology.

Objective: To explore the clinical effect and impact of exercise-diet therapy combined with Insulin Aspart Injection on gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).
Methods: The objects of study were patients with pregestational diabetes mellitus (PGDM) and 62 patients with GDM who were diagnosed by oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) and insulin release test from February 2017 to February 2019. According to the severity of the disease, enrolled patients were informed to have appropriate exercise and diet control or Insulin Aspart Injection on this basis until the completion of delivery.

Objective: Several studies suggest that dietary fiber intake may reduce mortality risk, but this might depend on the fiber types and the evidence regarding the role of soluble fiber or insoluble fiber on death risk remain limited and inconsistent. Therefore, this study aimed to comprehensively evaluate multiple types of dietary fiber intake on mortality from all causes, cardiovascular disease and cancer in the large-scale Prostate, Lung, Colorectal, and Ovarian Cancer (PLCO) Screening Trial.
Methods: A multivariate Cox proportional hazards model was used to estimate hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs).

We isolated and purified a novel polysaccharide from the root of , namely, polysaccharide (CVP) and confirmed its structure and molecular weight. Furthermore, experiment, CVP's protective effect against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in mice was evidenced by significantly reducing I/R-induced myocardial infarction (MI) size, decreasing the secretion of heart damage biomarkers, and improving cardiac function. Then, the myocardial anoxia/reoxygenation (A/R) injury model was established to mimic reperfusion injury.

Over the past decade, tremendous progress has taken place in tumour immunotherapy, relying on the fast development of combination therapy strategies that target multiple immunosuppressive signaling pathways in the immune system of cancer patients to achieve a high response rate in clinical practice. Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) agonists have been extensively investigated as therapeutics in monotherapy or combination therapies for the treatment of cancer, infectious diseases and allergies. TLR9 agonists monotherapy shows limited efficacy in cancer patients; whereas, in combination with other therapies including antigen vaccines, radiotherapies, chemotherapies and immunotherapies exhibit great potential.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the application value of CDFI and SMI combined with serological markers in distinguishing benign and malignant thyroid nodules.
Method: A total of 192 patients with thyroid nodules admitted to our hospital from July 2019 to December 2020 were selected as subjects. Color Doppler blood flow imaging (CDFI) and supermicro blood flow imaging (SMI) methods are used to detect the blood flow of patients and the levels of serum thyroglobulin antibody (TgAb), thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb), and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH).

Neonatal teratoma, a common congenital malformation, rarely occurs in the head and neck region, especially not within the oral cavity. This report presents a case of neonatal giant teratoma in the oral cavity and oropharynx along with cleft palate, which caused postnatal airway obstruction and respiratory distress and required postnatal resection in a female newborn. After the delivery and routine neonatal examination, the anesthesiologist conducted orotracheal intubation to establish the airway, and tumor resection was immediately done under local anesthesia.
