Objectives: To investigate the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder in intensive care unit survivors, and disorder's correlation with analgesia use.

Methods: The single-centre retrospective cohort study was conducted at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, China, and comprised data from February 2021 to January 2022 related to patients of either gender aged =18 years who were admitted to the intensive care unit and were successfully transferred out to the general ward. Post- traumatic stress disorder Checklist-Civilian Version scale was used for follow-up within one month of getting transferred out of intensive care.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common and deadly cancers in the world. Transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) is the primary factor that drives fibrosis in most, if not all, forms of chronic kidney disease. In kidneys that are obstructed, specific deletion of Sirt2 in renal tubule epithelial cells (TEC) has been shown to aggravate renal fibrosis, while renal tubule specific overexpression of Sirt2 has been shown to ameliorate renal fibrosis. Introduction: Ixekizumab, an interleukin-17A inhibitor, was efficacious and well tolerated for the treatment of active radiographic axial spondyloarthritis (r-axSpA) in international clinical studies. This phase III study aimed to determine the efficacy and safety of ixekizumab for treating Chinese patients with active r-axSpA.

Methods: Adults with active r-axSpA naïve to biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (bDMARDs), or with an inadequate response/intolerance to one tumor necrosis factor inhibitor, were randomized (1:1), double-blind, to receive ixekizumab 80 mg every 4 weeks (IXEQ4W; starting dose 160 mg), or placebo, for 16 weeks.

We aim to understand the link between systemic and intraocular levels of inflammatory mediators in treatment-naïve retinal vein occlusion (RVO) patients, and the relationship between inflammatory mediators and retinal pathologies. Twenty inflammatory mediators were measured in this study, including IL-17E, Flt-3 L, IL-3, IL-8, IL-33, MIP-3β, MIP-1α, GRO β, PD-L1, CD40L, IFN-β, G-CSF, Granzyme B, TRAIL, EGF, PDGF-AA, PDGF-AB/BB, TGF-α, VEGF, and FGFβ. RVO patients had significantly higher levels of Flt-3 L, IL-8, MIP-3β, GROβ, and VEGF, but lower levels of EGF in the aqueous humor than cataract controls.
