Congenital syphilis (CS), once a forgotten disease, has now remerged. A 2-month-old male child presented with multiple discrete skin-colored papules over the trunk, back, bilateral lower limbs, and groin. He also had a deformity of bilateral lower limbs and a widening at the wrist.

Cervical lymphangioma is a congenital malformation of the lymphatic system. They are most common in children between the ages of 3 and 5 years and rarely present in adults. It is most often present in the posterior triangle of the neck.

Nasal Septal Cartilage as Anterior Cap-Graft for Open Tracheoplasty in Cases for Laryngotracheal Stenosis: Our Initial Experience.

The aim of our study is to analyze the efficacy of nasal septal cartilage as cap-graft in laryngo-tracheoplasty in cases of Laryngotracheal stenosis. This was a prospective observational study carried out at a tertiary care hospital from March 2020 to March 2023. Total 8 patients who underwent laryngo-tracheoplasty using nasal septal cartilage as anterior Cap-graft were included in the study.

A rare case: Antenatally diagnosed congenital high airway obstruction syndrome.

Congenital high airway obstruction syndrome (CHAOS) is a rare life-threatening fetal condition resulting from obstruction of the upper fetal airway which may be partial or complete. Prenatal diagnosis is crucial as it usually results in stillbirth or death after delivery if unrecognized. We report a case of CHAOS that was diagnosed prenatally due to characteristic ultrasound features.

Background And Aims: Supraglottic airways (SGAs) are generally used for airway management; but can also be used as a conduit for tracheal intubation. Our primary aim was to evaluate i-Gel and laryngeal mask airway (LMA) classic as conduits for tracheal intubation using ventilating bougie by assessing number of attempts and time for insertion of SGAs, ventilating bougie and endotracheal tube (ETT), and total intubation time.

Material And Methods: A randomized clinical trial was carried out in 58 patients requiring general anesthesia and endotracheal intubation for planned surgery.

Sheehan's syndrome is a rare cause of recurrent hypoglycemia. We present a case of a middle aged woman who presented with recurrent life threatening hypoglycemia. Based on a past history of severe post partum hemmorhage and a clinical picture of myxedema and secondary amennorhea, laboratory and neuroimaging was undertaken to confirm a diagnosis of Sheehan's syndrome.

A rare case of plasma cell leukemia in a 35 year old.

Plasma cell leukemia is a rare, aggressive form of multiple myeloma. A 35-year-old male presented with backache, generalized weakness, and facial puffiness. His complete blood count showed anemia and a high WBC count with atypical cells on peripheral smear.

Genital elephantiasis as a complication of chromoblastomycosis: A diagnosis overlooked.

Over the decades, causes of genital elephantiasis have changed only to become elusive to etiological diagnosis. This is a case of 20 year old male who presented with genital elephantiasis occurring due to lymphatic obstruction caused by chromoblastomycosis and super added erysipelas.
