The severity of the disease is underscored by its significant mortality rate, and unfortunately, there are no targeted therapeutics currently available for this viral infection. Neuroblastoma (NB) tumor rupture, typically intra-abdominal, is a rare and life-threatening condition with a poor prognosis, often associated with large aggressive tumors. Intrathoracic ruptures, rarely reported, may result from thoracic NB or malignant invasion. We present the first case of spontaneous intrathoracic rupture in a 2-year-old boy with abdominal NB.

Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of iodine excess in pregnant mothers on thyroid function, growth and neurodevelopment in the neonates when assessed at 12 weeks of age.
Methodology: This prospective study enrolled term neonates with birth weight >2500 gm of mothers having urine iodine concentration (UIC) ≥500 µg/L documented in the third trimester of the peripartum period. Neonatal TSH was collected by heel prick on dried blood spots within 24-72 hours of age and measured by time-resolved fluroimmunoassay.

Peripheral vascular disorders associated with anti-centromere antibody (ACA) present generally with sclerodactyly in connective tissue disorders (CTD). It is unusual for ACA-associated digital necrosis to develop without preexisting raynaud's phenomena or vascular risk factors. We report a novel case of a 60-year-old non-smoker, non-diabetic woman with ACA and isolated finger necrosis without any other features of CTD.

Purpose: This study evaluated the three year clinical outcomes and predictors of success for unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) in an Indian population.
Methods: Twenty patients with medial compartment osteoarthritis (≥ Ahlbäck grade 2) underwent UKA. American Knee Society Score (AKSS), Oxford Knee Score (OKS), and Visual Analogue Scale Score (VAS) were assessed at baseline, two weeks, six weeks, three months, and three years.
