Study Question: Does intraovarian platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection increase the number of mature oocytes obtained after controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) in young women with poor ovarian response (POR) undergoing IVF?
Summary Answer: Intraovarian PRP injection procedure does not improve mature oocyte yield after COS in women less than 38 years old with an established IVF history of POR.
What Is Known Already: POR is frequently encountered among the infertile population and the number of women seeking infertility treatment related to POR is increasing. Effective treatment options for this patient population to conceive with autologous oocytes are lacking.

Background: During episodes of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), individuals with migraine, compared with individuals without migraine, may experience more severe vestibular symptoms because of their hyperexcitable brain structures, more adverse effects on quality of life, and worse recovery processes from BPPV.
Methods: All patients with BPPV were assigned to the migraine group (MG, n = 64) and without migraine group (BPPV w/o MG, n = 64) and completed the Vertigo Symptom Scale (VSS), Vertigo Dizziness Imbalance Symptom Scale (VDI-SS), VDI Health-Related Quality of Life Scale (VDI-HRQoLS), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) at the time of BPPV diagnosis (baseline) and on the one-month follow-up. Headache Impact Test-6 and Migraine Disability Assessment Scale were used for an assessment of headache.

Background: Malignant Gastric Outlet Obstruction (mGOO) has been standardly treated by surgical Gastrojejunostomy (S-GJ) or Endoscopic Stenting (ES). Recently, EUS-Gastrojejunostomy (EUS-GJ) has emerged as an alternative, despite its worldwide diffusion is heterogeneous. The aim of this survey was to assess clinical decision-making around mGOO and to explore current opinions regarding EUS-GJ.

Objective: This study evaluates various craniospinal irradiation (CSI) techniques used in Turkish centers to understand their advantages, disadvantages and overall effectiveness, with a focus on enhancing dose distribution.
Methods: Anonymized CT scans of adult and pediatric patients, alongside target volumes and organ-at-risk (OAR) structures, were shared with 25 local radiotherapy centers. They were tasked to develop optimal treatment plans delivering 36 Gy in 20 fractions with 95% PTV coverage, while minimizing OAR exposure.

Objective: Chronic inflammation is considered to be of key importance in the pathogenesis of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide (GLP) and Hypericum perforatum (HP) have been reported to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. We studied the effects of these agents on ovarian tissue in a rat model of experimental PCOS.

This study aimed to evaluate the significance of radiological (magnetic resonance imaging [MRI]) findings, surgical, and previous interventions on prognosis with oncological and functional outcome in patients with parosteal osteosarcoma (POS). Twenty-seven patients (8 male/19 female) who were operated with the diagnosis of primary POS in our institution were retrospectively reviewed. The epidemiological data, biopsy method, misdiagnosis/improper interventions, and delay in diagnosis were noted.

Purpose: To evaluate the effect of transepithelial corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL) treatment on the optical performance of the cornea at 12-month follow-up after CXL in patients with progressive keratoconus.
Methods: One hundred and ten eyes of 67 patients were included. The following corneal optical aberrations over the 4-mm-diameter pupil were recorded via Sirius dual-scanning corneal tomography: total, anterior and posterior amount of corneal higher order aberrations [HOAs], vertical coma, horizontal coma, vertical trefoil, oblique trefoil, and spherical aberration, and Strehl ratio of point spread function (PSF).

Pool palms and pool toes are friction or pressure-induced aquatic dermatoses resulting from extensive and repetitive rubbing of fingers, palms, soles, and toes against the rough anti-slippery surfaces or edges of pools. Aquagenic syringeal acrokeratoderma is a sporadic, episodic, and acquired disorder of palmar skin linked to water exposure. Herein we describe a case of aquatic/aquagenic dermatosis that presented clinical and diagnostic difficulties.

Background: Thoracic anterior vertebral body tethering (TAVBT) is an emerging treatment for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Tether breakage is a known complication of TAVBT with incompletely known incidence. We aim to define the incidence of tether breakage in patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis who undergo TAVBT.

Introduction: Hereditary forms of intellectual disability (ID), an estimated prevalence ranging between 1% and 3% in the general population, are among the most important problems in health care. Especially, autosomal-recessive ID has a very heterogeneous molecular basis and a lack of specific phenotypic features.
Methods: Here, we report on two unrelated patients with autosomal-recessive ID, microcephaly, and autistic features and review the patients with TRAPPC9-related ID.

Purpose: The standard of care in locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) is concomitant chemoradiotherapy followed by high-dose-rate brachytherapy (HDR-BT). Although previous studies compared HDR-BT with stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), there is scarce data regarding the dosimetric outcomes of stereotactic MR-guided adaptive radiation therapy (SMART) boost in lieu of HDR-BT.
Methods And Materials: In this single-institutional in-silico comparative study, LACC patients who were definitively treated with external beam radiotherapy followed by HDR-BT were selected.
