Purpose: To investigate the effects of varicocelectomy on premature ejaculation (PE) in patients with varicocele and infertility.

Methods: A total of 82 sexually active patients aged 18 years or over who had undergone microscopic subinguinal varicocelectomy with a clinical diagnosis of varicocele in 14 urology clinics between October 2021 and March 2023 with primary infertility were evaluated prospectively Patients were evaluated using the Turkish validated form of the 'Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool' (PEDT) scale. A PEDT score of 11 or above was taken to indicate the presence of PE.

Examination of Risk Factors Affecting the Development of BSI and Mortality in Critically Ill COVID-19 Patients Hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU): A Single-Center Retrospective Study.

Mickey Mouse Sign on Bone Scan in the Monostotic Form of Paget's Disease Mimicking Osseous Metastasis.

Paget's disease is a chronic benign bone disease characterized by excessive and abnormal bone remodeling. Monostotic Paget's disease accounts for only 20% of the cases, and the monostotic form involving the vertebra with the Mickey Mouse sign is very rare. Herein, we report a case of suspected bony metastasis in the second lumbar vertebra that was diagnosed as Paget's disease because of the Mickey Mouse sign on bone scintigraphy, and the diagnosis was confirmed by biopsy.

We compared the efficacy and safety of low-molecular-weight heparins (LMWHs) in patients with cancer who are at low risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE). Purpose: Our aim was to evaluate left ventricular (LV) systolic and diastolic functions of primary hyperparathyroidism (pHPT) patients with detailed echocardiographic analysis and investigate the effect of parathyroidectomy on echocardiographic parameters.

Methods: A total of 22 eligible consecutive patients with pHPT who underwent parathyroidectomy operation were recruited to the study. Another 22 subjects with similar age, gender and frequency of cardiovascular risk factors compared to patients were used as a control group.

Association Between Age of Beginning Primary School and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Objective: In April 2012, the Turkish national education system was modified, and the compulsory school age of entry (first grade) was redefined as a minimum of 60 months and a maximum of 66 months (replacing the former minimum criterion of 72 months). In this study, we hypothesized that students starting school before 72 months (the previous age standard for the first grade) may experience (1) a greater number of symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and (2) lower functioning in social, behavioral, and academic domains.

Method: We performed a cross-sectional community-based study in the first and second grades of all primary schools (4356 students) located in the Kadıköy county of Istanbul, Turkey.
