Introduction: Adverse and destructive situations can have a significant and long-lasting impact on organizational members, resulting in considerable disruption to organizational functioning. The occurrence of negative or traumatic events in organizations can be attributed to a range of factors, including natural adversities, as well as intentional or human-induced crises. The concept of organizational healing encompasses both the processes that enable an organization to regain functionality following adversity and the strategies that facilitate enhanced performance in the period following trauma or harm.

Objective: Transforaminal epidural steroid injection (TFESI) is highly effective in alleviating radicular back pain. While predictive factors for TFESI treatment outcomes have been previously studied, there is a lack of data on the relationship between facet joint degeneration and TFESI efficacy. This study is aimed at studying the impact of facet joint degeneration on TFESI treatment outcomes for unilateral radicular pain.

Unlabelled: Since the inception of transplantation, it has been crucial to ensure that organ or tissue donations are made with valid informed consent to avoid concerns about coercion or exploitation. This issue is particularly challenging when it comes to infants and younger children, insofar as they are unable to provide consent. Despite their vulnerability, infants' organs and tissues are considered valuable for biomedical purposes due to their size and unique properties.

Background: Although post-transplant diabetes mellitus (PTDM) is a common complication after kidney transplantation, there are few data on prevention, optimal screening, and treatment strategies.
Methods: The European Renal Association's DESCARTES working group distributed a web-based survey to European transplant centres to gather information on risk assessment, screening procedures, and management practices for preventing and treating PTDM in kidney transplant recipients.
Results: Answers were obtained from 121/241 transplant centres (50%) across 15 European countries.

Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic from the fluoroquinolone group that is frequently used in many clinical practices. In addition to its peripheral neuropathic side effects, it is an antibiotic that can pass through the blood-brain barrier due to its lipophilic features and cause rare central nervous system symptoms. Although cases of neuropsychiatric symptoms developing after treatment with ciprofloxacin have been reported in the literature, the number of reports of manic episodes after ciprofloxacin use is limited, and there have been no reports of delirious mania developing after ciprofloxacin use until the case presented in this report.

The superior hypogastric plexus (SHP) contains afferent nociceptive fibers from the pelvic structures, thus the SHP block is employed in the chronic pelvic pain (CPP) treatment in patients who do not respond to conservative treatments. A 60-year-old female patient, who did not respond to conservative treatment, underwent SHP neurolytic block after a successful diagnostic block. An excessive oblique angle approach was applied due to physical restrictions, the needle passed through the intervertebral disc resulting in the contralateral side SHP block, and the procedure was also repeated to the other side SHP.

Evidence suggests that anthropogenic climate change is accelerating and is affecting human health globally. Despite urgent calls to address health effects in the context of the additional challenges of environmental degradation, biodiversity loss and ageing populations, the effects of climate change on specific health conditions are still poorly understood. Neurological diseases contribute substantially to the global burden of disease, and the possible direct and indirect consequences of climate change for people with these conditions are a cause for concern.

In this study, the in vitro photodynamic therapy (PDT) activity of two zinc phthalocyanines (ZnPc1 and ZnPc2) was systematically examined in human umbilical vein endothelial cells, focusing on PDT-induced cytotoxicity, reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, and inhibition of angiogenic processes. Both the ZnPcs demonstrated minimal cytotoxicity in the absence of light, confirming their safety as photosensitizers. ZnPc-PDT led to significant cell death via apoptosis.

Objective: Bamboo spine is the most severe complication of Axial spondyloarthritis (AxSpA). This study aims to address whether haplotypes of endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase (ERAP)1 and ERAP2 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), previously associated with AXSPA, are associated with the development of bamboo spine in an AxSpA cohort.
Methods: The study included 192 patients with AxSpA followed in MARS (MARmara Spondyloarthritis) clinic and fulfilling the modified New York criteria.
Objectives: To study the long-term outcomes of the flexible and navigable suction ureteral access sheath (FANS) in flexible ureteroscopy (FURS). FANS has well-established efficiency and 30-day perioperative safety; however, its influence on pelvicalyceal and ureteric anatomy remains to be investigated.
Methods: This was a prospective study of patients with normal renal anatomy who underwent FURS with FANS for renal stones from April 2023 to August 2024 in 16 centers worldwide.

Background: In the 21st century, disasters (particularly earthquakes, which remain the leading cause of death) continue to be among the foremost issues requiring global emergency response. While the impact of advancing technologies on the environmental and human damage caused by earthquakes is still a subject of debate, search and rescue (SAR) teams and emergency departments (ED), specifically emergency physicians (EPs), play a crucial role in the most acute management of the effects of these earthquakes on human life. This study aims to examine the injury dynamics of two catastrophic earthquakes that occurred in Turkey 24 years apart from the perspective of EPs, utilizing archival records from the SAR teams in which EPs served.
