Chronic pelvic pain may cause a significant reduction in the quality of life for affected women, and the extent of the limitation is often underestimated. Chronic pain can lead to lifelong problems. Currently, PCS is probably significantly underdiagnosed as a cause of chronic pelvic pain in women.

This overview shows the possibilities and limitations of sacral neuromodulation, sacral deafferentation with sacral anterior root stimulation and conus deafferentation.Sacral neuromodulation (SNM) is a procedure for the treatment of refractory pelvic floor dysfunction of various origins (idiopathic, neurogenic or post-operative), such as overactive bladder, non-obstructive retention and faecal incontinence.

Urgent Endovascular Aortic Repair Requiring Coverage of the Left Subclavian Artery.

Background:  Evaluation of the optimal left subclavian artery (LSA) management during thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) involving the distal aortic arch in an urgent setting.

Methods:  A total of 52 patients with acute aortic syndromes underwent TEVAR (March 2017 to May 2021) requiring proximal landing in the distal aortic arch. Decision for partial or complete LSA ostial endograft coverage, with or without additional bypassing, was made depending upon the aortic pathology and vascular anatomy.
