Discharge from the emergency department and early hospital revaluation in patients with COVID-19 pneumonia: a prospective study.

Objective: The national health systems are currently facing the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic. We assessed the efficacy of outpatient management for patients with SARS-CoV-2 related pneumonia at risk of progression after discharge from the emergency department.

Methods: This was a single-center prospective study.

In recent years, the increase in consumer interest towards simpler and authentic lifestyles has led to an explosive growth in the production and business of typical agri-food products and, among these, of wines and its derived beverages. The "in vitro" total antioxidant activity (TAA) determined using ABTS assays, total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), total anthocyanins content (TAC), and colour (Somers assay) were measured.

Management of complications in penile prosthesis reimplantation: A case report.

A 74-years-old patient, without comorbidity, underwent malleable penile prosthesis (MPP) implantation in 2007. In 2015, after a perineal trauma, he experienced stress urinary incontinence, medial extrusion of the left prosthetic cylinder and an urethrocavernous fistula. The cylinder was removed and an artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) implanted, together with a three-component inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP).

Nanostructured liquid crystalline particles as delivery vectors for isofuranodiene: Characterization and in-vitro anticancer activity.

Isofuranodiene is an oxygenated sesquiterpene containing a furan ring isolated from the essential oil of Smyrnium olusatrum L. (Apiaceae) owning notable anticancer activity. Despite its biological potential, the high lipophilicity along with a relatively low stability due to Cope rearrangement giving rise to a less active compound, make the perspective of its therapeutical use unlikely.
