The present study investigated the adaptational changes involving various components of the buccal cavity of fingerling (three months posthatching, mph), yearling (12 mph), and adult (48 mph) using scanning electron microscopy, histology, and morphometry.

This paper presents a multi-layer, multi-objective (MLMO) optimization model for techno-economic-environmental energy management in cooperative multi-Microgrids (MMGs) that incorporates a Demand Response Program (DRP). The proposed MLMO approach simultaneously optimizes operating costs, MMG operator benefits, environmental emissions, and MMG dependency. This paper proposed a new hybrid ε-lexicography-weighted-sum that eliminates the need to normalize or scalarize objectives.

Acute Vascular Complications of VA-ECMO in COVID-19 Patients. Does COVID-19 Affect the Outcome?

Background: Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) through the femoral artery and vein can lead to significant vascular complications. We retrospectively studied the acute vascular complications of Veno-Arterial Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (VA-ECMO) in COVID-19 patients compared to non-COVID patients during the period from January 2020 to July 2023.

Results: Seventy-eight patients underwent VA-ECMO for various indications from January 2020 to July 2023.

The current study aimed to provide data on the occurrence of the thermophilic spp. in seven broiler chicken flocks, from three north-western Transylvanian counties of Romania, as well as to determine the antimicrobial resistance profile of the isolated strains.

Role of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnosis and staging of urinary bladder cancer.

Objectives: To assess the role of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mp-MRI) in the diagnosis and staging of urinary bladder cancer (BC).

Materials And Methods: Fifty patients diagnosed with bladder masses underwent mp-MRI study. The results of 3 image sets were analyzed and compared with the histopathological results as a reference standard: T2-weighted image (T2WI) plus dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE), T2WI plus diffusion-weighted images (DWI), and mp-MRI, including T2WI plus DWI and DCE.
