Unlabelled: Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) is a rare and challenging type of thyroid cancer originating from parafollicular cells (C cells) that produce calcitonin. Diagnosing and monitoring this carcinoma can be complex due to its unique biomarkers. Procalcitonin (PCT), a precursor of calcitonin, and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) are important markers for MTC.

Background: Radial angiography, preferred for its safety and comfort in percutaneous coronary interventions, occasionally leads to paresthesia-a tingling or numbing sensation in the hand. This study aimed to investigate the presence of nerve damage in patients experiencing paresthesia post-radial angiography through electrophysiological examination.
Methods: This prospective study involved 77 patients who developed hand paresthesia following radial angiography.

Aim: We aimed to investigate the efficiency and accuracy of an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm for detecting interval cancers in a middle-income country's national screening program.
Material And Methods: A total of 2,129,486 mammograms reported as BIRADS 1 and 2 were matched with the national cancer registry for interval cancers (IC). The IC group consisted of 442 cases, of which 36 were excluded due to having mammograms incompatible with the AI system.

Objectives: Breast implant-associated anaplastic large-cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) has been recognised in recent years, and there is extensive ongoing research. Although the exact mechanism and cause are still unclear, we now know that the disease is more associated with textured implants. To the best of our knowledge, no previous studies investigating the radiological differential of various implants have been conducted.

In recent years, microfluidic chip-based sperm sorting has emerged as an alternative tool to centrifugation-based conventional techniques for in vitro fertilization. This prospective study aims to compare the effects of density gradient centrifugation and microfluidic chip sperm preparation methods on embryo development in patient populations with astheno-teratozoospermia. In the study, the semen samples of the patients were divided into two groups for preparation with either the microfluidic or density gradient methods.

The objective of this paper is to contrast the use of a longitudinal incision in surgical decompression of De Quervain disease with a transverse incision. The advantages are ease in recognition of compartment variations and superficial branches of radial nerve and prevention of palmar tendon subluxation by permitting a more dorsal release of the compartment sheath. Since 2002, we have used a longitudinal skin incision instead of the classic transverse incision to release the first dorsal compartment.
