A novel approach is introduced for the reliable prediction of PUF-air partition coefficients of organic compounds, which can determine the environmental fate of organic compounds during interactions with air, soil, and water. The biggest accessible measured data of PUF-air partition coefficients for 170 chemicals are used to develop and test the novel model. In comparison to available quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) methods for the prediction of PUF-air partition coefficients that need complex descriptors, the here used descriptors are simpler.

In the present study, the tensile strength, fracture surface, hardness, and amount of residual stress in Inconel 625 super alloy cladded with direct metal deposition (DLD) process in the states before and after stress relief was studied. Then, material discrimination curves for graphite, aluminum, steel, and lead materials were obtained using four algorithms, including log-log, R-T, r-θ, and α-α. In recent years, a significant amount of drugs have been taken orally, which are not as effective as desired. To solve this problem, bacterial cellulose-based dermal/transdermal drug delivery systems (BC-DDSs) with unique properties such as cell compatibility, hemocompatibility, tunable mechanical properties, and the ability to encapsulate various therapeutic agents with the controlled release have been introduced. A BC-dermal/transdermal DDS reduces first-pass metabolism and systematic side effects while improving patient compliance and dosage effectiveness by controlling drug release through the skin.

In this photodetector, the NbO layer detects the light, and the graphene improves the responsivity based on the photogating effect. The photocurrent and the percentage ratio of the photocurrent to dark current of the NbO photogating photodetector are compared with those of the corresponding photoconductive photodetector.

Hyaluronic acid (HA), an anionic and nonsulfated glycosaminoglycan, is the main structural component of various tissues and plays an important role in various biological processes. Given the promising properties of HA, such as high cellular compatibility, moisture retention, antiaging, proper interaction with cells, and CD44 targeting, HA can be widely used extensively in drug delivery, tissue engineering, wound healing, and cancer therapy. HA can obtain from animal tissues and microbial fermentation, but its applications depend on its molecular weight.
