Background: In diversity, equity and inclusion research, overcoming barriers in language discordant patient care is one of the largest and most challenging gaps. It is well established that patients with limited English proficiency (LEP) have higher rates of misdiagnosis, medical errors, and serious adverse events, and recommended best practices for LEP patient care are often not followed.
Objective: Our team sought to elicit provider perspectives regarding the barriers they face in caring for LEP patients-especially the unique challenges faced when caring for patients with complex and sensitive diagnoses such as gynecologic cancer.

Introduction: Intra-tumoral B cells mediate a plethora of immune effector mechanisms with key roles in anti-tumor immunity and serve as positive prognostic indicators in a variety of solid tumor types, including epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC). Several aspects of intra-tumoral B cells remain unclear, such as their state of activation, antigenic repertoires, and capacity to mature into plasma cells.
Methods: B lymphocytes were isolated from primary EOC tissue and malignant ascites and were maintained in cell culture medium.

Information in digital mammogram images has been shown to be associated with the risk of developing breast cancer. Longitudinal breast cancer screening mammogram examinations may carry spatiotemporal information that can enhance breast cancer risk prediction. No deep learning models have been designed to capture such spatiotemporal information over multiple examinations to predict the risk.

Sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping is a surgical technique with high accuracy in detecting metastases while limiting morbidity associated with full lymphadenectomy in endometrial cancer. Recent retrospective data suggests that recurrence risk is low for patients with isolated tumor cells (ITCs). The objective of this study was to describe the pathologic findings, postoperative complications, and outcomes of endometrial cancer patients with ITCs who subsequently underwent a second surgical procedure, full lymph node dissection (LND) following initial staging surgery.

Granular cell tumor (GCT) is an uncommon neoplasm arising from perineural Schwann cells that can arise anywhere in the body and is particularly rare in the breast. Imaging typically shows an irregular, noncalcified mass with high density on mammography and intense posterior shadowing on US that mimics malignancy. Benign GCTs can be locally aggressive and invade the skin or chest wall.
