Anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) detection receives much attention since it is used as an ideal biomarker for quantitative assessment of ovarian reserve. The present study proposed a first report on the use of MOF-on-MOF as an electrochemical sensor for recognizing AMH in buffer and serum media. The MOF-on-MOF, MIL-88 B@UiO66NH was synthesized by the internal extended growth method (IEGM) involving MIL-88 B on UiO66NH by in situ method for the first time.

Vaccination has been an effective method to prevent and control diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and polio diseases in infancy and adults for years. To maintain the protective effect, a DTaP-IPV vaccine, Tetraxim, was introduced into Taiwan's national immunization program for children at 5 years of age after primary series vaccination in infancy in October 2017 replacing a Tdap-IPV. To survey the safety of this vaccine, data between 01 October 2017 and 31 December 2020 from two surveillance systems, the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) and Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), were reviewed.

This case-control study spanned from July 2022 to September 2023, focusing on the pre-Omicron COVID-19 mRNA vaccine effectiveness against the Omicron variant in children without prior SARS-CoV-2 exposure. We reported that pre-Omicron COVID-19 mRNA vaccines significantly reduced Omicron-induced hospitalizations in infection-naïve Taiwanese children. Our study also highlighted the socioeconomic factors influencing COVID-19 vulnerability among the children population.

We still do not have comprehensive knowledge of which framework of patient-centered care (PCC) is appropriate for diabetes care, which elements of PCC are evidence-based, and the mechanism by which PCC elements are associated with outcomes through mediators. In this review, we elaborate on these issues. We found that for diabetes care, PCC elements such as autonomy support (patient individuality), cooperation and collaboration (system-level approach), com-munication and education (behavior change techniques), emotional support (biopsychosocial approach), and family/other involvement and support are critically important.
