Non-invasive biosensors for indirect evaluation of routinely-measured blood components by sweat analysis have broad potential clinical applications. This trial tested a wrist-borne non-invasive glucose monitor (NIGM) to measure blood glucose (BG) levels using photoplethysmographic (PPG) optical sensors.
