The increasing prevalence rate of diabetes mellitus (DM) and the associated long-term complications warrant a need to improve awareness of DM-related complications in the Indian population. Our questionnaire-based pan-India study (April 2021-March 2022) aims to capture the observations of healthcare practitioners (HCPs) on the prevailing level of knowledge and awareness regarding diabetes among their patients. We refer to this as the 90:90:90 program.

The precise timings of evoked potentials in evaluating the functional outcome of stroke have remained indistinct. Few studies in the Indian context have studied the outcome of early prognosis of stroke utilizing evoked potentials. The aim of this study was to determine somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEPs) and brain stem auditory evoked potentials (BAEPs), their timing and abnormalities in acute ischemic stroke involving the middle cerebral artery (MCA) territory and to correlate SSEP and BAEP with the functional outcome (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), modified Rankin scale (mRS) and Barthel's index) at 3 months.

Thyroglobulin (Tg) measurements in tissue and serum play an important role in the management of differentiated thyroid cancers. In the post thyroid ablation scenario, Tg estimation plays a very important role for detection of recurrence and metastasis. Although there could be Tg autoantibody interference in some patients, Tg is a highly specific and sensitive tumor marker for differentiated thyroid cancer in those where the autoantibody is absent.

Background: QT interval on the surface electrocardiogram reflects the time for repolarization of myocardium. Prolongation of rate-corrected QT interval, QTc is strongly associated with sudden cardiac death. Recent studies using novel techniques on beat-to-beat QT interval variability have shown that an increase in QT interval variability is associated with increased sympathetic activity and is a predictor of sudden cardiac death.
