Objective: To evaluate the incidence of sentinel lymph node (SLN) metastasis observed in patients with presumed low- and intermediate-risk endometrial cancer (EC) and change in stage and adjuvant therapy resulting from SLN analysis. Secondary objectives include assessing the rates of detection of SLN using indocyanine green (ICG) dye and complication rates.
Methods: Between March 2017 and December 2023, 210 patients were included in the study.

Oral cancer rates in India surpass those in any other nation, with patients manifesting varied disease stages, including pre-malignant phases. Tobacco chewing promotes field cancerization, and related surgical interventions can be remarkably morbid. Advanced-stage patients with frequent recurrences undergo treatments that significantly degrade their quality of life.

Giant cell tumor affecting distal radius has been considered more aggressive, as compared to its counterparts in other locations. While resection has been advocated as the treatment of choice with lower rates of recurrence, curettage has reportedly led to superior functional outcomes. This retrospective study aimed to evaluate the functional and oncological outcomes of patients managed for GCT distal radius by either extended intralesional curettage (EIC) or resection and arthrodesis with radialisation of ulna (RRU), with respect to rates of local recurrence and function.

The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Clinical Practice Guidelines for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with biliary tract cancer (BTC), published in late 2022 were adapted in December 2023, according to established standard methodology, to produce the Pan-Asian adapted (PAGA) ESMO consensus guidelines for the management of Asian patients with BTC. The adapted guidelines presented in this manuscript represent the consensus opinions reached by a panel of Asian experts in the treatment of patients with BTC representing the oncological societies of China (CSCO), Indonesia (ISHMO), India (ISMPO), Japan (JSMO), Korea (KSMO), Malaysia (MOS), the Philippines (PSMO), Singapore (SSO), Taiwan (TOS) and Thailand (TSCO), co-ordinated by ESMO and the Taiwan Oncology Society (TOS). The voting was based on scientific evidence and was independent of the current treatment practices, drug access restrictions and reimbursement decisions in the different regions of Asia.

The global demographic and epidemiological transition have led to a rapidly increasing burden of cancer, particularly among older adults. There are scant data on the prevalence and demographic pattern of cancer in older Indian persons. This was a multicentric observational study conducted between January 2019 and December 2020.

Introduction: There is an unmet need for high-quality data for Robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) in the Indian population. Indian study group on partial nephrectomy (ISGPN) is a consortium of Indian centers contributing to the partial nephrectomy (PN) database. The current study is a descriptive analysis of perioperative and functional outcomes following RAPN.

Introduction: Giant cell lesions of orofacial region although rare in presentation, have diagnostic and treatment challenges due to overlapping clinical, radiological, and histopathological signs.
Background: We happened to come across a case, which presented to us with an aggressive jaw lesion of nonodontogenic origin, mimicking a malignancy and putting us in a conundrum with regard to work up and treatment. The sequential work up not only helped us reach a definitive diagnosis but also led us the draw algorithms for diagnosis of Giant cell lesions and management of Central giant cell granuloma.

The provision of breast cancer care tends to vary substantially from one breast unit to another. To provide state-of-the-art patient-centered care to women diagnosed with breast cancer, adoption and adherence to structured treatment algorithms, protocols, and international guidelines are essential. In this review, we endeavor to audit breast cancer care at our tertiary cancer center against published EUSOMA guidelines.

The practice of boost to the tumor bed after treatment with oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery (BCS) remains variable. Using a survey, the present study evaluated the current practice of tumor bed boost administered in women after oncoplastic BCS. Actively practicing radiation oncologists across India were sent a questionnaire on the practice of adjuvant whole-breast radiotherapy and tumor bed boost after oncoplastic BCS via email and encouraged to participate.

Nanomaterials that mimic the catalytic activity of natural enzymes in the complex biological environment of the human body are called nanozymes. Recently, nanozyme systems have been reported with diagnostic, imaging, and/or therapeutic capabilities. Smart nanozymes strategically exploit the tumor microenvironment (TME) by the in situ generation of reactive species or by the modulation of the TME itself to result in effective cancer therapy.

We have conducted this study to understand the impact of poor differentiation (PD), as a sole poor prognostic factor, in early oral cancers. This was a retrospective analysis of a prospectively maintained database of clinically node-negative early T stage OSCC patients operated between 2012 and 2014. Impact of PD on the survival and role of adjuvant therapy in these patients was noted.

Objectives: The Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) program is designed to achieve faster recovery by maintaining pre-operative organ function and reducing stress response following surgery. A two part ERAS guidelines specific for Cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) was recently published with intent of extending the benefit to patients with peritoneal surface malignancies. This survey was performed to examine clinicians' knowledge, practice and obstacles about ERAS implementation in patients undergoing CRS and HIPEC.

Background And Objectives: Despite surgical advances, postoperative complications persist, affecting oncologic outcomes and increasing treatment costs. It is important to identify a marker that can predict postoperative complications, which can help prehabilitate patients before surgery. This study evaluated sarcopenia as a predictive marker of postoperative complications in patients undergoing surgery for gastrointestinal (GI) or hepato-pancreatico-biliary (HPB) cancer.
