Methods: A comprehensive analysis was conducted on a retrospective cohort of 118 patients who underwent multivisceral resection for sigmoid colon cancer with urinary bladder involvement between June 2002 and May 2017. Univariate and multivariate analyses were employed to identify risk factors associated with long-term outcomes.

Tis review focused on prevalence of anemia and iron defciency (ID) in CHF and their effect on the course and prognosis of this condition. Based on evaluation of numerous laboratory data defnitions of anemia and ID were suggested. Specifcally, a diagnostic value of measuring serum iron, serum ferritin, transferrin saturation, total iron-binding capacity, and concentration of soluble transferrin receptors was discussed.

Effect of 5-Fluorouracil on Thymidine Phosphorylase Activity in Model Experiment.
