Background: Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) contributes significantly to global health challenges, presenting primarily in the oral cavity, pharynx, nasopharynx, and larynx. HNSCC has a high propensity for lymphatic metastasis. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), the most common subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, exhibits significant heterogeneity and aggressive behavior, leading to high mortality rates.

Background And Objectives: Natural killer T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) are the two most prevalent subtypes of lymphoma in the sinonasal region. Accurately differentiating between sinonasal DLBCL and NKTCL is crucial for determining the appropriate treatment and prognosis. The present study compared the clinical characteristics of these two conditions.

Primary head and neck lymphoid neoplasms(PHNLN) are described as a series of lymphoid system-derived neoplasms which originally arising from head and neck region. Our study is aimed to present a panoramic view of PHNLN among adolescent and young adult(AYA) patients aged from 15 to 39 years-old. The individual patient information was obtained from Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results(SEER) database.

Background: This study characterizes lymphomas presenting as palpable head and neck masses and evaluates the role of fine needle aspiration (FNA) and flow cytometry (FC) in diagnosis.
Design: A 5-year retrospective review of FNAs performed by pathologists in an ENT clinic identified cases with a predominant lymphoid population that lacked an epithelial component. Cytology, FC, and subsequent surgical pathology diagnoses were correlated.

Background & Purpose: Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), developed by Olympus Medical Systems, has played a role in diagnosing digestive tract lesions and cancers, diagnosing and characterizing bladder cancers during cystoscopy and in the diagnosis and management of Head and Neck cancers. We aim to explore the potential use of NBI in the diagnosis, management, and follow-up of sinonasal tumours.
Methods: We present a series of cases treated at our institution, where NBI played a crucial role in the diagnosis, surgical management, intraoperative decision-making, and follow-up.

Polatuzumab vedotin plus R-CHP (Pola-R-CHP) is approved as a new standard first-line therapy for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) based on the POLARIX trial. However, real-world data on its efficacy and safety in unselected patients is lacking. We conducted a retrospective cohort study to evaluate Pola-R-CHP versus R-CHOP outcomes in routine clinical practice in China.

Introduction: Wearable health monitors (WHM) offer minimally invasive, ambulatory monitoring of physiological parameters and activity. WHMs are being used increasingly in healthcare but adoption for patients undergoing cancer treatment is limited in part due to a lack of understanding of patient intentions as they receive treatment. The aim of this study explores the patient experience of using WHMs during their cancer pathway, including barriers and enablers of WHM use.

Introduction Tonsillectomy is the most common surgery in otorhinolaryngology worldwide, with many indications in adults and children. Traditionally, all tonsillectomy specimens are routinely submitted for histopathological examination, even in the absence of clinical suspicion of malignancy. This practice has been debated due to its resource implications and the low yield of malignancy in routine cases.

BACKGROUND Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is the most prevalent form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, representing around a quarter of newly diagnosed cases of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is a disease that affects mostly older persons, with a median presentation in the 7th decade of life. Clinically, it has a variety of presentations, ranging from constitutional symptoms to local or systemic pressure effects caused by a rapidly growing mass.

Background: While ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration cell block (FNACB) is a cost-effective, expeditious, and reliable procedure used routinely in the initial evaluation of head and neck masses, it has limited efficacy in diagnosing lymphoproliferative disorders such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Flow cytometry performed on an fine-needle aspiration (FNA) sample [ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspirate flow cytometry or flow cytometry performed on an FNA sample (FNAFC)], has been shown to be a valuable adjunct to FNACB in the diagnosis of lymphoproliferative disorders of the spleen, kidney, and thyroid. The objective of this study was to appraise FNAFC's utility as an ancillary tool to detect NHL arising in the head and neck region in adult patients.

Evaluation, staging, and treatment of skin cancers involve a multidisciplinary team, with radiology playing an integral role. Imaging evaluation of dermatologic disease that involves the head and neck is especially important due to the proximity of important structures such as nerves, bone, muscle, and lymph nodes. The authors review the pathophysiology of the most common types of skin cancer, as well as cutaneous lymphoma, and the available treatment modalities and algorithms.

Background: Approximately 20%-30% of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) cases are classified as double-expressor lymphoma (DEL), characterized by the co-expression of the MYC and BCL2 proteins. However, the most effective therapeutic strategy for DEL remains unidentified.
Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of a novel histone deacetylase inhibitor, chidamide, in combination with rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (CR-CHOP) in the treatment of DEL.

Fibroinflammatory lesions of the sinonasal tract include inflammatory polyps (chronic rhinosinusitis), various infectious, sarcoidosis, and NK/T-cell lymphoma as examples of the most commonly encountered lesions. However, the differential diagnosis includes several less frequently encountered entities, such as granulomatosis with polyangiitis, eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Churg-Strauss), eosinophilic angiocentric fibrosis considered part of IgG-related disease, and Rosai-Dorfman disease. This review focuses on these latter entities providing an update on clinical, laboratory, imaging, histology, and ancillary testing employed to reach an actionable diagnosis.

Background And Objective: This systematic literature review addresses model-based cost-effectiveness studies for therapy response monitoring with positron emission tomography (PET) generally combined with low-dose computed tomography (CT) for various cancer types. Given the known heterogeneity in therapy response events, studies should consider patient-level modelling rather than cohort-based modelling because of its flexibility in handling these events and the time to events. This review aims to identify the modelling methods used and includes a systematic assessment of the assumptions made in the current literature.
