Minimal residual disease detection in lymphoma: methods, procedures and clinical significance.

Lymphoma is a highly heterogeneous lymphohematopoietic tumor. As our understanding of the biological and pathological characteristics of lymphoma improves, we are identifying an increasing number of lymphoma subtypes. Genotyping has enhanced our ability to diagnose, treat, and monitor the prognosis of lymphoma.

Clinicopathologic analysis of nodal T-follicular helper cell lymphomas, a multicenter retrospective study from China.

Background: Nodal T-follicular helper cell lymphomas (nTFHLs) represent a new family of peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs), and comparative studies of their constituents are rare.

Methods: This study retrospectively enrolled 10 patients with nTFHL-F and 30 patients with nTFHL-NOS diagnosed between December 2017 and October 2023 at six large comprehensive tertiary hospitals; 188 patients with nTFHL-AI were diagnosed during the same period at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University for comparison.

Results: Compared with nTFHL-AI, nTFHL-NOS patients exhibited better clinical manifestations, lower TFH expression levels, and a lower Ki-67 index.

The relationship and clinical significance of serum cytokine expression level and skin pruritus in patients with Hodgkin lymphoma and angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.

Modified R-BAC plus BTK inhibitor regimen in newly diagnosed young patients with mantle cell lymphoma: a real-world retrospective study.

To explore the optimal treatment for young patients with untreated mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), we compared the efficacy and safety of R-CHOP/R-DHAP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone/rituximab, dexamethasone, cytarabine and cisplatin) and R-BAP (rituximab, bendamustine, cytarabine, and prednisone) plus BTK (Bruton's tyrosine kinase) inhibitors in newly diagnosed patients. Eighty-three young patients (≤ 65 years old) with newly diagnosed MCL admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 1, 2014, to June 1, 2023, using R-CHOP/R-DHAP or R-BAP plus BTK inhibitor were assessed in this study. The median age at presentation was 60 (42-65) years in 83 patients, including 64 males and 19 females; 59 were treated with R-CHOP/R-DHAP regimen chemotherapy, and 24 were treated with R-BAP in combination with the BTK inhibitor regimen.

Clinical and imaging features of lymphomatosis cerebri: analysis of 8 cases and systematic review of the literature.

Lymphomatosis cerebri (LC) is a rare type of primary central nervous system lymphoma with diffuse, nonenhancing infiltrative lesions and is often misdiagnosed. Our study aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics and prognosis of LC through analyzing patients from the literature and our own center, so as to improve early diagnosis and treatment. PubMed, Web of Science and our hospital databases were reviewed, and information on demographic, clinical, pathological, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), neuroimaging and treatment options was extracted.

The experience of diagnosis and treatment for TAFRO syndrome.

Early identification, diagnosis and treatment of TAFRO syndrome are very importants. We retrospectively analysed 6 patients with TAFRO syndrome. Their clinical manifestations, treatment methods, survival and other aspects were summarized.

[Multiomics and Multidimensional Testing for Efficacy Monitoring of Patients with Lymphoma].

Objective: To explore the role of a new blood-based, multiomics and multidimensional method for evaluating the efficacy of patients with lymphoma.

Methods: 10 ml peripheral blood was extracted from each patient, and the genomic copy number aberrations (CNA) and fragment size (FS) were evaluated by low-depth whole genome sequencing of cfDNA, and the level of a group of plasma tumor marker (PTM) were detected at the same time. The cancer efficacy score (CES) was obtained by standardized transformation of the value of above three numerical indexes, and the changes of CES before and after treatment were compared to evaluate the patient's response to the treatment regimen.

Fotemustine, etoposide, cytarabine, and cyclophosphamide (FEAC) conditioning regimen for autologous stem cell transplantation in lymphoma.

To investigate the efficacy and safety of the FEAC (fotemustine, etoposide, cytarabine, and cyclophosphamide) conditioning regimen for the treatment of lymphoma, we retrospectively analyzed the records of 76 Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) patients who underwent autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) after the FEAC conditioning regimen. Their survival, as well as the clinical efficacy, hematopoietic engraftment time, and toxicity, were analyzed. One patient died of severe pulmonary infection, and the transplant-related mortality (TRM) was 1.

Real-world evidence of ABVD-like regimens compared with ABVD in classical Hodgkin lymphoma: a 10-year study from China.

Background: Doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine (ABVD) has been regarded as the standard treatment regimen for classical Hodgkin lymphoma. In recent years, ABVD-like regimens, which emerged due to shortages and the lung toxicity of bleomycin or the emergence of immune checkpoint inhibitors and antibody-drug conjugates, may be favorable, but have not yet been tested.

Methods: We compared the outcomes of ABVD with ABVD-like regimens, which include bleomycin was completely or partially omitted; meanwhile, etoposide or PD-1 inhibitors were added.

The clinical characteristics and prognostic factors of 410 patients with natural killer/T-cell lymphoma.

Purpose: To investigate the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors of natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL).

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 410 NKTCL patients admitted to our lymphoma center from 2000 to 2019. Overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were estimated with the Kaplan-Meier method, and the differences between the study groups were compared by the log-rank test.

Expanding anti-CD38 immunotherapy for lymphoid malignancies.

Background: Lymphoid neoplasms, including multiple myeloma (MM), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), and NK/T cell neoplasms, are a major cause of blood cancer morbidity and mortality. CD38 (cyclic ADP ribose hydrolase) is a transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of plasma cells and MM cells. The high expression of CD38 across MM and other lymphoid malignancies and its restricted expression in normal tissues make CD38 an attractive target for immunotherapy.

DDGP followed by radiotherapy vs VIPD followed by radiotherapy in newly diagnosed early NK/T-cell lymphoma.

Purpose: To explore the best treatment for early natural killer/T (NK/T)-cell lymphoma, we compared the efficacy and safety of DDGP (pegaspargase, gemcitabine, cisplatin and dexamethasone) followed by radiotherapy (RT) and VIPD (etoposide, ifosfamide, cisplatin, and dexamethasone) followed by radiotherapy for newly diagnosed patients.

Materials And Methods: 40 newly diagnosed patients with stage I-II from January 2011 to November 2016 were treated with DDGP followed by radiotherapy or VIPD followed by radiotherapy. They were assessed in this study.

CD5-positive marginal zone lymphoma: Clinicopathological features and survival outcomes.

Background: CD5 expression in different B-cell lymphomas has different clinicopathological and prognosis and the value of CD5 expression in marginal zone lymphoma is undefined.

Methods: Clinicopathological features, survival outcomes of marginal zone lymphoma were retrospectively analyzed in 204 patients. We classified patients into (i) CD5-positive marginal zone lymphoma (ii) CD5-negative marginal zone Lymphoma, Fisher's exact test was used to compare the CD5-positive and CD5-negative marginal zone lymphoma.

The Effect of Chronic Rhinosinusitis on the Staging and Prognosis of Extranodal Natural Killer/T-Cell Lymphoma: A Single-Center Retrospective Analysis.

Autologous Nanobody-Derived Fratricide-Resistant CD7-CAR T-cell Therapy for Patients with Relapsed and Refractory T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma.

Purpose: Since CD7 may represent a potent target for T-lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T-ALL/LBL) immunotherapy, this study aimed to investigate safety and efficacy of autologous CD7-chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells in patients with relapsed and refractory (R/R) T-ALL/LBL, as well as its manufacturing feasibility.

Patients And Methods: Preclinical phase was conducted in NPG mice injected with Luc+ GFP+CCRF-CEM cells. Open-label phase I clinical trial (NCT04004637) enrolled patients with R/R CD7-positive T-ALL/LBL who received autologous CD7-CAR T-cell infusion.

Ibrutinib in Patients with Relapsed or Refractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma: A Retrospective Study.

Improving outcomes in limited-stage de novo CD5+ DLBCL: systemic approaches with consolidative radiation.

CD5-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (CD5+ DLBCL) is characterized by poor prognosis after frontline immunochemotherapy. This retrospective study investigated the effect of consolidative radiation after systemic treatment in newly diagnosed stage I-II de novo CD5+ DLBCL. In this study, 22 patients received consolidative radiotherapy (RT) after immunochemotherapy (chemotherapy + RT group) and 28 patients received chemotherapy alone.

Advances in CD30- and PD-1-targeted therapies for relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphoma.

[Expression of CD7 and its correlation with prognosis in patients with NK/T-cell lymphoma].

To analysis the expression of CD7 in NK/T-cell lymphoma as well as study the correlations between CD7 and clinical survival and prognosis. The clinical and pathological indicators of 112 NKTCL patients who were admitted to or consulted at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between May 2008 and December 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. The CD7 expression in the tumor tissues was detected using immunohistochemistry staining, and the influence of CD7 expression on the survival and prognosis in the patients was analyzed.
