Status epilepticus (SE) is a critical medical emergency that demands immediate and effective intervention. We report a unique case involving a 21-year-old woman with left hemimegalencephaly who was hospitalized for super-refractory status epilepticus (SRSE) that persisted for 8 weeks. Despite extensive treatment efforts including multiple anti-seizure medications, anesthetics, high-dose methylprednisolone, anakinra, magnesium infusion, and a ketogenic diet, her condition remained unchanged.

Purpose: Sexuality and body image are closely related to health-related quality of life (HRQoL), but these factors are less investigated in patients treated for lymphoma. Therefore, the aim of this study was to describe and explore the associations between sexuality, body image, comorbidities and HRQoL in patients treated for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
Methods: A cross-sectional study with 257 patients (25% response rate) was conducted in 2019 using measures for sexuality, HRQoL and body image and data from the Swedish National Quality Registry for Leukemia-Subregistry for Lymphoma.

Background: In recent decades, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) technology has made significant progress (sheathless insertion technique, different balloon diameters, percutaneous technique and fibre optic IABP) in reducing complications and increasing patient support. Nonetheless, IABP-related complications are still frequent and are associated with a poor prognosis.
Aim: The aim of this systematic review was to identify complications associated with IABP treatment in critically ill patients with a compromised cardiac function.
Background: For several years, the Norwegian government's goal has been that half of those who complete a degree in Norwegian higher education, should have had a study period abroad. This also applies to undergraduate nursing students. Nurse education programs in Norway often offer clinical practice abroad in order for their students to gain experience from another country's health care system.

Purpose: In childhood cancer survivors (CCS), high physical activity (PA) and low sedentary time may reduce risks of late-effects. PA behaviors and screen time, and how they relate to moderate-to-vigorous PA (MVPA) in CCS, are largely unknown. We examined PA behaviors and screen time, and their cross-sectional associations with MVPA.

Background: Nursing students' learning during clinical practice is largely influenced by the quality of the guidance they receive from their nurse preceptors. Students that have attended placement in nursing home settings have called for more time with nurse preceptors and an opportunity for more help from the nurses for reflection and developing critical thinking skills. To strengthen students' guidance and assessment and enhance students' learning in the practice setting, it has also been recommended to improve the collaboration between faculties and nurse preceptors.

Background: Acute headache may be the primary symptom of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Recent guidelines suggest that non-contrast computed tomography (CT) is adequate to exclude aneurysmal SAH if performed within 6 h after symptom onset. However, most studies of acute headache including CT, lumbar puncture and SAH are multicenter studies from referral hospitals with highly selected patient populations.

Introduction: Quality of life (QOL) and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in children and adolescents with food allergies have been an important and steadily growing field of research for the past 20 years. There seem to be conceptual and methodological challenges that might influence the face validity of QOL and HRQOL research in general health research, but this has not been investigated in pediatric and adolescent food allergy research up until now. The aim of this study was to perform a systematic review of the QOL and HRQOL studies on food allergy in children and adolescents under the age of 18.
