mutation is associated with cancer progression. Novel strategies to reboot p53 are required to stabilize the disease and improve survival. This randomized placebo-controlled trial investigated safety and efficacy of Nutri-PEITC Jelly (a texture-modified nutritious diet fortified with β-phenethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC) on oral cancer.

Purpose: We prospectively investigated the acute toxicities focusing on skin and hematologic function in breast cancer patients who received hypofractionated whole breast irradiation with simultaneous integrated boost (HF-WBI-SIB) with helical tomotherapy (HT), with or without regional nodal irradiation (RNI).
Methods: The dose of WBI and RNI was 42.4 Gy in 16 fractions.

Background: Chemoradiotherapy is the standard of care for esophageal cancer as a neoadjuvant treatment before surgery, or as a definitive treatment for unresectable disease. Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) has been considered the standard radiation technique. However, patients suffer from treatment-related toxicities, and most die from disease progression or recurrence.

Objectives: To evaluate the type of salvage treatment and outcomes of patients with locally advanced cervical cancer who failed treatment with concurrent chemoradiation with or without adjuvant chemotherapy.
Methods: This was post hoc analyses of data from the randomized trial which included 259 patients who had FIGO stage IIB-IVA and had either pelvic radiation therapy concurrent with cisplatin followed by observation or paclitaxel plus carboplatin. Data of the patients who failed primary treatment were collected: type of salvage treatments, time to progress after salvage therapy, progression-free (PFS) and overall survivals (OS).

Objective: To evaluate the psychometric properties of the Thai version of the Cancer Survivors' Unmet needs (CaSUN-TH) scale among Thai cancer survivors after completion of primary treatment.
Methods: Standardized translation procedures developed the Cancer Survivors' Unmet Needs into a Thai version (CaSUN-TH). Face validity was evaluated by a group of experts, and a pilot test on 10 cancer patients was conducted to evaluate its readability.

Objectives: To evaluate sites of failure and long-term survival outcomes of locally advanced stage cervical cancer patients who had standard concurrent chemo-radiation (CCRT) versus those along with adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT) after CCRT.
Methods: Patients aged 18-70 years who had FIGO stage IIB-IVA without para-aortic lymph node enlargement (excluding by International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) 2018 stage IIIC2r), The Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) scores 0-2, and non-aggressive histopathology were randomized to have CCRT with weekly cisplatin followed by observation (arm A) or ACT with paclitaxel plus carboplatin every 4 weeks for 3 cycles (arm B).
Results: From 2015-2017, 259 patients were evaluated.

Introduction: This study aimed to compare the cost utility of concurrent chemoradiation (CCRT) to CCRT followed by adjuvant chemotherapy (CCRT/ACT) in locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) using provider and societal viewpoints.
Methods: Data from our trial which was a multi-centre study evaluating the efficacy of ACT compared to CCRT/ACT were entered into a decision tree model. The data included clinical probability, direct medical and non-medical costs, and utility obtained from the patients.

Purpose: We introduce a technique that employs a 2D detector in transmission mode (TM) to verify dose maps at a depth of d in Solid Water. TM measurements, when taken at a different surface-to-detector distance (SDD), allow for the area at d (in which the dose map is calculated) to be adjusted.
Methods: We considered the detector prototype "MP512" (an array of 512 diode-sensitive volumes, 2 mm spatial resolution).

Objectives: This study investigated physical symptoms, unmet supportive care needs, and quality of life (QoL) perception among different types of Thai cancer survivors who had completed first-line treatment.
Methods: A cross-sectional study recruited breast, gynecological, colorectal, lung, and head and neck cancer survivors ( = 236) who were attending follow-up visits at a regional cancer hospital in central Thailand. Data were collected by the Physical Symptom Concerns Survey, the Cancer Survivors' Unmet Needs Scale, and a single item measuring global QoL.

A family of prototype 2D monolithic silicon-diode array detectors (MP512, Duo, Octa) has been proposed by the Centre for Medical Radiation Physics, University of Wollongong (Australia) for relative dosimetry in small megavoltage photon beams. These detectors, which differ in the topology of their 512 sensitive volumes, were originally fabricated on bulk p-type substrates. More recently, they have also been fabricated on epitaxial p-type substrates.

Objectives: To characterize the clinical pattern and evaluate real-life practices in the management of patients with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) in Thailand.
Methods: In this multicenter, prospective, observational cohort, females (aged ≥18 years) with histologically and immunohistochemically confirmed TNBC were enrolled. Patient data was collected at four study visits-an inclusion visit (for enrollment), and three subsequent follow-up visits at 12±1, 24±1, and 36±1 months after completion of first day of any planned chemotherapy.

Background: Among developing countries, Thailand shows no increase in the incidence of human papillomavirus-driven oropharyngeal cancer. The causal role of human papillomavirus infection in this pathology has not been researched thoroughly.
Methods: A hospital-based, case-control study was performed which included 104 patients with newly diagnosed oral and oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinomas and 104 individuals without cancer.

Background: Thailand has come to an epidemiologic transition with decreasing infectious diseases and increasing burden of chronic conditions, including cancer. Breast cancer has the highest incidence rates among females throughout Thailand. This study aimed to identify the current burden and the future trends of breast cancer of Lopburi, a province in the Central Thailand.
