Successful hemodialysis treatment need a well functioning vascular access (VA) allowing two cannulation sites with enough blood flow have minimum adverse events. The expectations, age of the HD population are rising as well as the lack of conventional methods due to central venous exhaustion, we have to choose some complex access, including complex or tertiary vascular access mentioned in 2018 Clinical Practice Guidelines of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS) and the option to abandon the venous circuit in instead of arterial system, including arterial-arterial graft and arterial superficialization. This article report a complicated case of AVF dysfunction, central venous stenosis due to central venous catheter and aortic dissection stent as well as lower extremity arteriosclerosis occlusion, using the simple method of superficialization of enlarged radial artery to maintain hemodialysis.

Acupuncture has historically been practiced to treat medical disorders by mechanically stimulating specific acupoints with fine needles. Despite its well-documented efficacy, its biological basis remains largely elusive. In this study, we found that mechanical stimulation at the acupoint of Yanglingquan (GB34) promoted the autophagic clearance of α-synuclein (α-syn), a well known aggregation-prone protein closely related to Parkinson's disease (PD), in the substantia nigra par compacta (SNpc) of the brain in a PD mouse model.

Objective: To observe the effect of Feiyanning Granule (FYN) on tumor growth and cell cycle distribution in mice with Lewis lung cancer, as well as its influence on G1/S cell cycle checkpoint dominating signaling RB-E2F1 bio-axis.
Methods: Modeled C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into 6 groups: the model group (A), the DDP treated group (B) peritoneally injected with cisplatin 0.1 mg on d1, d3 and d5 after modeling, and the 4 FYN treated groups (C-F), administered via gastrogavage with FYN Decoction, and FYN Granule in small-, median- and high- dose respectively for 14 days.
