Intraoperative bleeding poses a substantial challenge, particularly in neuro-spine surgeries leading to complications such as hematomas, infections, and hemodynamic instability. Despite their proven efficacy, use of topical hemostatic agents (THAs) lacks comprehensive published literature and guidelines particularly in the Indian setting. The present study provides the first-ever Indian expert panel recommendations for effective adjunct THA use in different intraoperative bleeding sites and situations in neuro-spine surgeries.

Its anomalous course in congenital atlantoaxial dislocation makes it more vulnerable to injury. Large Multicentric Synchronous Extra-Abdominal Fibromatosis of the Leg and Foot: A Case Report.

Extra-abdominal fibromatosis is an uncommon, benign locally aggressive fibrous soft-tissue tumor that usually occurs in the shoulders, chest wall, back, thigh, and head and neck affecting the young adult population. It is commonly located in the subcutaneous tissue and may infiltrate the adjacent skeletal muscles. We hereby report a rare case of a large extra-abdominal fibromatosis of the leg and foot in a 38-year-old woman.

Rare cause of persistent hypocalcaemia in infancy due to PTH gene mutation.

Hypocalcaemia is a frequently encountered electrolyte abnormality in neonates and it is mostly transient. However, persistent hypocalcaemia can point towards an endocrine abnormality like hypoparathyroidism, which is usually due to genetic disorders like DiGeorge and Kearns Sayre syndrome or due to mutations of genes like GCM2, CaSR and PTH.Our patient was a female child, who presented with hypocalcaemic convulsions in the neonatal period.

Giant Cell Tumour of Hard Palate and its Surgical Management: Case Report.

The giant cell tumour is a benign but locally aggressive tumour accounting for 5% of all bone tumours typically seen at the metaphyseo-epiphyseal ends of long bones with 1% incidence in skull bones. We are presenting a case report of 40 year old female with GCT of hard palate. An initial pre-operative plan was hard palate removal with complete tumour clearance trans-orally with iatrogenic oro-nasal fistula with rehabilitation to be done with obturator for closure of fistula and dentures to aid chewing.

Successful Use of Direct Splenic Vein Anastomosis to the Interposition Internal Jugular Vein Graft after Extended Pancreatoduodenectomy to Avoid Sinistral Portal Hypertension.
