Introduction: Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most common peripheral nerve entrapment disease, and it is a subject of great interest and concern to medical professionals and the general public. Our study aims to analyze and compare the quality and accuracy of the information related to CTS provided by social media platforms (SMPs) and the new large language models (LLM).

Methods: On YouTube, the first 20 videos in English and the first 20 videos in Spanish when searching for "carpal tunnel syndrome" and "síndrome túnel carpo" were selected.

We sought to adapt the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias-Palliative Care (ADRD-PC) clinical trial to improve enrollment and address the cultural needs of people with late-stage ADRD who identify as Hispanic or Latino and their family caregivers. Many new circulating recombinant forms (CRFs) and unique recombinant forms (URFs) of human immunodeficiency virus type-1 (HIV-1) have been discovered in populations with multiple circulating HIV-1 genotypes. In this study, we report two novel URFs derived from two HIV-1-positive individuals in Hebei, China, who were infected through homosexual (BDD142) and heterosexual (BDD154) contact. Phylogenetic and recombinant analyses of the two NFLG revealed that they are second-generation recombinant strains originating from the CRF01_AE cluster 4/B and CRF01_AE cluster 5/B strains.

Efficacy and safety of dapsone in adult primary immune thrombocytopenia.

To assess efficacy and safety of dapsone in adult immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a multicenter randomized controlled trial (RCT) and a real-word study cohort were performed. Participants were adults with primary ITP, transient response to corticosteroids ± intravenous immunoglobulin, and a platelet count ≤ 30x109/L (or ≤ 50x109/L with bleeding). Patients in the RCT were randomized in arm A (prednisone x3weeks+dapsone for 12 months) or arm B (prednisone alone).

Purpose: Although publicly available cancer-related information online and offline could help patients make informed decisions, it also poses challenges due to prevalent misinformation.
