Eccrine angiomatous hamartoma (EAH) is a rare benign vascular lesion that is distinguished histologically by vascular and eccrine overgrowth. We report the case of a 46-year-old woman with EAH who was successfully treated with multimodal incobotulinum toxin A, pulsed dye laser and long-pulsed neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet laser.

Background And Aim: There is an increasing prevalence of chronic disease worldwide, resulting in multiple management challenges. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is an exemplar chronic disease requiring coordinated longitudinal care. We propose that Crohn's Colitis Care (CCCare), a novel IBD-specific, structured electronic medical record is effective at improving data capture and is acceptable to patients.

Introduction: Abnormal retinal changes are increasingly recognized as an early pathological change in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Although amyloid beta oligomers (Aβo) have been shown to accumulate in the blood and retina of AD patients and animals, it is not known whether the early Aβo deposition precedes their accumulation in brain.
Methods And Results: Using nanobodies targeting Aβ and Aβ oligomers we were able to detect Aβ oligomers in the retina and blood but not in the brain of 3-month-old APP/PS1 mice.
Background Inconsistent findings have been found among studies evaluating the risk of cardiovascular disease for women who have had pregnancies complicated by gestational hypertension (the new onset of high blood pressure without proteinuria during pregnancy). We provide a comprehensive review of studies to quantify the association between gestational hypertension and cardiovascular events in women. Methods and Results We conducted a systematic search of PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science in March 2019 for studies examining the association between gestational hypertension and any cardiovascular event.

The scenario is further complicated in patients with native and prosthetic valvular heart disease. We present a case study of a 36-year-old man who received intravenous thrombolysis (IV-tPA) and endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) for presumed "cryptogenic" complete middle cerebral artery infarction who made a surprisingly excellent clinical recovery despite poor baseline and postintervention neuroimaging.
