Background: There is increasing interest in replacing alteplase with tenecteplase as the preferred thrombolytic treatment for patients with acute ischaemic stroke. We aimed to establish the non-inferiority of tenecteplase to alteplase for these patients.

Methods: In this multicentre, prospective, open-label, blinded-endpoint, randomised controlled, non-inferiority trial, adults with an acute ischaemic stroke who were eligible for standard intravenous thrombolysis but ineligible for endovascular thrombectomy were enrolled from 53 centres in China and randomly assigned (1:1) to receive intravenous tenecteplase (0·25 mg/kg, maximum dose of 25 mg) or intravenous alteplase (0·9 mg/kg, maximum dose of 90 mg).

Introduction: In this study, a new carbon quantum dots-NO (CQDs-NO) that is based on spermidine trihydrochloride and can be used as a nitric oxide donor was prepared using a two-step hyperthermia-intermittent ultrasonic method, after which its healing effect on deep partial-thickness burn wounds was tested in rats.

There are numerous studies showing that exposure to arsenic (As) or fluoride (F) damages the nervous system, but there is no literature investigating the effects of combined As and F exposure to induce autophagy on neurotoxicity in the offspring. In this study, we developed a rat model of As and/or F exposure through drinking water from before pregnancy to 90 days postnatal. The offspring rats were randomly divided into nine groups.

Carbon dots, as a new material, has attracted much attention because of its unique physical and chemical properties and good biological safety. In recent years, the researches on the antibacterial property, antioxidant, and photoluminescence properties of carbon dots are more and more extensive and carbon dots have great potential in the treatment of chronic and infectious wounds.

Two New Zn(II)/Cd(II) Complexes: Luminescent Properties and Treatment Activity on Cardiovascular Disease.

Two new supramolecular frameworks, namely [Zn(HBTC)(HO)]·n(MA) (1) and {[Cd(OBDC)(MA)(HO)Cl](HMA)(HO)(DMA)} (2) (HBTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, HOBDC = phthalic acid, MA = melamine, DMA = N,N'-dimethylacetamide), have been solvothermally prepared.
