Background: Efficacy and safety of ultra-rapid acting oral prandial insulin Tregopil was compared with insulin aspart (IAsp) in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) on insulin glargine and metformin.

Research Design And Methods: In this open-label, active-controlled trial, patients with T2D, HbA ≥7%-≤9% and 2-h postprandial glucose (PPG) ≥180 mg/dL were randomized 1:1:1 to Tregopil (30 mg, = 30; 45 mg, = 31) and IAsp, = 30. Primary outcome was change from baseline (CFB) in HbA at week 24.

Only a few systematic reviews and meta-analyses (SRMAs) have evaluated the impact of VR on sperm concentration, total motility, and progressive motility, mostly using a before-after analytic approach. No SRMA to date has evaluated the change in conventional semen parameters after VR compared to untreated controls.

Aim: This survey of spine surgeons aimed to determine the prevalence of neck pain and identify the associated risk factors. The prevalence of neck pain has been reported in various medical sub-specialities including laparoscopy surgeons, dentists, plastic surgeons, ophthalmologist, urologist and orthopaedic surgeons. However, the literature is lacking on prevalence and risk factors for neck pain in spine surgeons.

Background The association of sub-normal vitamin D levels with respiratory tract infections in children has been a topic of interest in the recent literature. Vitamin D insufficiency has been explored as a modifiable risk factor in the management of pediatric recurrent respiratory tract infections. Methodology This hospital-based study included 108 children as cases aged six months to 15 years who were enrolled either as inpatients or outpatients with recurrent respiratory infections.

Purpose: COVID-19 infection is being increasingly identified as a risk factor for the development of ocular infections, especially endogenous endophthalmitis. Current studies primarily report cases among survivors, and the overall prevalence, especially amongst patients admitted with active sepsis is unknown. We report on the fundus and systemic findings of inpatients who were being treated for post-COVID-19 systemic secondary infections in a tertiary intensive care unit.
