Article Synopsis
  • This study focused on measuring levels of specific cytokines—IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, and IL-17A—in plasma, using flow cytometry to establish reference intervals for their concentrations in healthy adults.
  • A total of 728 individuals were included in the analysis, revealing that cytokine levels were not significantly influenced by age or sex.
  • The findings provide essential reference values for these cytokines, which can aid in assessing immune status and help diagnose and treat clinical diseases.
