Case Presentation: An 89-year-old male who had been holding dabigatran in the setting of transcarotid artery revascularization presented to the emergency department with sudden onset leg pain and weakness. Computed tomography angiography revealed acute aortic occlusion and thrombosis of the bilateral common iliac arteries. He underwent aortoiliac and femoral embolectomies and stenting of the bilateral common iliac arteries and returned to his baseline functional status.

Strategies for controlling the size of metal species using zeolites and their catalytic behavior in industrially relevant processes have attracted widespread attention, but the effect of H2O and CO2 on the catalytic performance of zeolite-based metal catalysts remains obscure. This study investigated the influence of H2O and CO2 on CO oxidation over zeolite-based metal catalysts, along with the precise control of active sites through the regulation of Lewis acidity. It was found that the presence of H2O enhanced CO oxidation and alleviated the inhibitory effect of CO2.

In order to study the effect of the simplified formula of Jinfukang Oral Liquid(ALG-12) on renal tubular injury induced by cisplatin(DDP), 48 C57 mice were divided into control group, model group, DDP group, and DDP combined with low, medium, and high dose groups of ALG-12. The mice were administered for 16 days after the establishment of the subcutaneous Lewis lung cancer heterotopic transplant tumor model of mice. The pathological changes, serum creatinine(Scr), blood urea nitrogen(BUN), kidney injury molecule 1(Kim-1), neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(NGAL), malondialdehyde(MDA), and total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD) in renal tissue and the degree of renal tubular cell apoptosis were analyzed to investigate the effect of ALG-12 on renal injury induced by DDP treatment on non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).

Background: Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) is a first-line treatment for OCD, but even when combined with first-line medications it is insufficiently effective for approximately half of patients. Compulsivity in OCD is thought to arise from an imbalance of two distinct neural circuits associated with specific subregions of striatum. Targeted modulation of these circuits via key cortical nodes (dorsolateral prefrontal cortex [dlPFC] or presupplementary motor area [pSMA]) has the potential to improve ERP efficacy by decreasing compulsions during therapy.
